sorry this isn't a real post. i'm just tired of seeing that my post is from months ago. thanks to those of you who post often, it's nice to have some form of contact w/ brothers & sisters. i do have stories to tell about my recent trip to CA, pics too (just need some Hi'llEcallLyouPlater w/ how to that). so within the next week i'll share something more exciting than this with you all. oh... one thing i can share quick now is for those of you who know shawn & amy w... they made it to England earlier this week, they've already gotten a vehicle, and have a house that they'll be moving into september 16. please keep them in your prayers as this move is a big change for them. they're not new to moving around, but changing countries is a little different that changing states. |

my last entry.... the first numbers were a new record set by david blaine, the second numbers were the gas prices that day, and the third set of numbers is the birthday of one of my favorite sisters. the numbers in todays subject line... today's gas prices.
i'm excited that tomorrow i'm traveling to ohio with "my girls". katie will be 5yrs aug 4th, and kristy is 20 mths old, they're experienced travelers, and we have fun together so i am looking forward to it. it'll be nice to see the gas prices in OH (they're always cheaper than here in CT/NY), but i'm even more excited to see my family and friends there. my trip to ohio ~ that's my big news right now.
for those of you that call me, i'm having some phone problems. it started with kristy snapin' my phone in 1/2 (literally), and now i have a new number with a new carrier, but my reception isn't great. i'll be in touch w/ peep soon to share my new number. if you need or want it sooner than i get it to you, write me and i'll make it a point to call you. |

today, 8 years ago, was when i got my first sister. ben married stacey and here we are 2 little people, 3 moves, too many chickens, some cats, goats, a big dog & a barn later. life is good, right?!?! seriously i am thankful for stace. i'm glad she's part of our family. happy anniversary!
as for me, i'm good, busy & mildly stressed w/ work, but good. i have too many blessings in my life to complain, a little stress from work is better than being stressed about not having any work.
we very recently had another baptism at the upper west manhattan congregation. it's been very good to see how much the congregation here has grown, in spirit, and in numbers in the 4+ years i've been here. it's one of my top blessings to have the congregation here, i do wish i was a little closer to the city so i could be w/ my brothers & sisters there more. i miss my brothers & sisters everywhere right now, and count you all as blessings in my life.

i'm about to. tonight most of us spring forward, so we may lose some sleep. sleep is not over rated. it is important. being tired on the Lord's day... not a good thing. i have had my days in worship that i've been tired, but not since i saw an elderly woman that i looked up to, and admired nodding her head during services one sunday. not only is it a bad example to others, but it takes away from our own personal worship. get some sleep everyone. good night. |
