I just want to let everyone know how much I appreciate all of the prayers, calls, cards & food during my illness. I can't even begin to tell you how much it means to me & my family to have the thoughts & concerns of so many...many of you whom I've never even met.
I will be entering the hospital again tomorrow as long as my WBC count is up for my second round of chemo. & will remain there until atleast Sun. or Mon. Please continue to remember me in your prayers as well as the doctors that are making decisions on my behalf.
We enjoyed time together today as a family to celebrate Thanksgiving. There is so much to be thankful for even during the most trying of times. I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving as well!
I think you are an amazing lady. I am praying for you and your sweet family. You are teaching so many people so much about service in His kingdom and what that means. Keep spreading your faith and love!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I got some news about my cancer yesterday. The doctor advised me that the cancer came back already in a few spots so we are going to start chemo tomorrow. Please keep me and my family in your prayers as we fight this fight and know that God has a plan for me. Thank you all for your concerns and all the comments it means so much to me and Lance. Please keep Katie and Kiley in your prayers as well. Life is what we make of the time we have so live it to the fullest.

This is Melissa updating for Kim at her request. She wants to let everyone know how much she appreciates all of the prayers, phone calls, cards, flowers & food during her unexpected illness. She has been moved out of ICU and into a private room now & is recovering from her surgery. She is not sure when she will get to come home, but she is taking it one day at a time. She expects to receive test results & a treatment plan some time in the near future. Please continue to remember her, Lance, Katie & Kiley in your prayers as this has been very difficult for them all & they have a long & uncertain road ahead of them.

It has been a while since I posted last so here it goes.... Katie and Kiley are both doing great and are getting so big. Life has been busy around here with two but I have enjoyed every minute. Lance and I will be celebrating our Anniv. next month so I am looking forward to that. We survived Ike with just a few damages but nothing to complain about. Well I hope everyone has a great week and I will try to post some pictures of the girls this week.

Today was Katies 1st day back to school and she was so excited. I had mixed feelings about her going but overall I know that she will have a great time and enjoy it and it is only two days a week so it will be good for both of us.
