Alas, Babylon 11-05-08 09:26am CST
tom_bombadilCheer up! Now we might get to glorify Christ by suffering for doing what is right.
kirbyj2^^^Admirable.
aggiemanhave you read the book?
kirbyj2^^^I have. I am not predicting a nuclear holocaust. What I meant by the post is that moral confusion only leads to one thing.
aggiemanit was definitely one of my favorite books in high school
soccerchicHow was ur day ??????
lizzybI'll apologize for my state turning blue! But, I'm trying to see the bright side. One of my friends at church said at least he's in a Godly marriage unlike other candidates. I guess we can grab what positive things we can!
soccerchicThats good !!!
tangsoodotpm"Fut, fut, fut"...hysterical

j1h15233no reason not to pair two winners together. my team is going strong this year and carrying the name well
lizzybThat was pretty spectacular! Especially stuffing 10 people in my little house! Can't wait for this year's festivities and being with everyone again.
highflyinwhytemanYes! also a good one. With twilight and bond dissapointing, I wonder if Hp is regretting not putting theirs out. probably would have dominated, oh well
anuttyHey, I'll be thankful for a new post how-about? Out of school today, until Dec.1

Didn't have to wait a second. The process took all of 4 minutes (with park time). I will be watching election coverage late into the evening.
aggiemanyeah it took me about 10 (I had to fill out a absentee form)
jamiemmoonit was a quick trip for me too...I am wondering if that is a good or bad thing.
oldrupertI did the early voting thing a week ago. No problem then.
sparkerYeah I think we just all thought there would be long lines with the lines during early voting, but during early voting there are only a few places to vote while on election day you vote at your precinct with a minimum number of people.
preteachAre you still watching, or did you shut off the tv and cry like me ??? Oh well, the Lord is in controll
campmagicmannot the night of eight years ago, huh?

Hilarious (and sort of sad) 10-24-08 11:28am CST
jdickensWow. i don't think I could be the judge in that case. I'd prob just laugh at both of them.
oldrupertYep. Saw that yesterday. It is funny until you realize some of these people really get wrapped up in this virtual stuff. People have even devised ways of 'stealing' virtual money. People that get that serious about 'virtual' games need to get an REAL life. That's probably why they are into the 'virtual' lives anyway.
jdickensNope, I change my mind. I would come up with a creative verdict, like sentencing her avatar to be haunted by his for several years.
oldrupert^^ I like that. Would fit the situation. A virtual decision.
landrywhat i don't get is why is she being charged with hacking when it sounds like he gave her his information when the were married?
windham4lifewow! people are crazy
age_six_racerno no no... it's what ABOUT bob?
koolkat96u2 rocks right
jamiemmoonDisguise --my thoughts on the perfect answer to such a problem. You have gotten to know me pretty well.
kalawiI carved it, but I was following a pattern. Hope to see you this weekend!

On my way to lunch, I passed by the playground of the elementary school just north of the church building. A kid in a blue jacket and jeans was lying in the dirt, thrashing like a fish out of water. Seven or eight children had gathered and were looking down at him. I thought he must be injured and was about to pull over the car when I saw the other children form a line and begin to jump over him one at a time. I had my windows down and heard them screaming and laughing while the kid on the ground produced a guttural roar and a series of furious grunts. One of the seven or eight, a small blond girl, was soon captured by the monster and the others came to her rescue with invisible swords and smote the monster's ruin upon the ground. As I drove away, the monster was resurrected fiercer than before and chased the group of warriors.

Don’t you wish all you had to worry about was which game to play at recess?
kalawihaha...I wish I would have seen those kids! And yeah, I know a lot of very talented people don't have any problem speaking to large groups of people for long periods...I'm not one of them.
courtdogMy kines class I'm taking right now reminds me of Elementary school recess and PE. Its technically a tumbling class, but for the past few lessons we've played all sorts of crazy games and mainly the 50 minutes has been taken up by laughter. It's my favorite class because I get to feel 5 again.
kalawioh, haha...I didn't mean to sound defensive! I was just saying, I'm not a very good public speaker :) So, when are you going to come visit us in Stephenville? Will you be down for your brother's birthday at all, since he's coming up that weekend?
heartsintexasThat sounds like a fun game! I remember red rover being a favorite of ours...but we always got in trouble for playing.
fallacyofthemindI. Want. To. Play.
beckybabySounds like a game that I used to play. Adventure... Elementry days were the best!
lizzybWell, I am so glad you didn't jump out of your car and start throwing bodies! We know how you love to protect defensless children! :-)
jamiemmoonand they say Castleberry kids aren't too smart...
l_moThat sounds like so much fun!!! HaHa...the games kids come up with is amazing!
anuttyWe need to all learn from those kids, love life and don't worry about tomorrow, what you should eat, or wear. Doesn't that sound familiar? Have I heard it somewhere before? :)
bethoumyvisionoh my, yes!
oldrupertAll those banned monkey bars, seesaws, and the thing that spun around until you got so dizzy and fell off. Went by that same playground the other day with the kids there and noticed the absence of playground equipment I played on there! Kids these days don't know how much fun it was to bang your head into the monkey bars or fall off. We loved it. Mr. K may have thought he saw an opportunity to demonstrate his new found abilities he learned at camp. :)
willisHahaha wow....sounds like fun haha
pistal77i miss those days!
