Do you know how hard it is to get 7 people to look good in a picture? The family pictures could have been better, but I was pleased with some of the shots of the kids!
all in all we really had fun! |

Well, we've been in Tompkinsville since September and we're moving again. Okay...before I scare anyone...or excite anyone...depending on how you view it...we are getting our second and hopefully last load from Ohio. We will get the truck on Thursday and leave for Kentucky (home) Friday morning. There are some things we need to do in the house, that's why we came back Thursday. It's a working trip but we are havin' fun as well.
Friday we had a great day with family and friends and finished the day with an early Thanksgiving dinner. We will not be able to come "home" for Thanksgiving so we had it early. The whole crowd was not here but we still had a great time.
Saturday was such a blessing celebrating Addi's first birthday with ALL the "cool" friends.
Today was great getting to worship with our family at West Broad!!! We enjoy coming "home" and seeing everyone!
Tomorrow has other things in store....WORK. Kirk worked without me Friday (I was cooking for Thanksgiving Dinner) and Saturday, so now I must engage in physical labor as well. wah wah wah....somebody call the wambulance!!!
I have a had a super start to this week...hope you did to. Put your trust in God and have a great rest of your week. |

Well, it’s here. Another year has past and today my little Emma is 7 years old. What a blessing she is. I had such a rough pregnancy and it’s a wonder she made it, but the Lord protected her and entrusted us to raise her. She has a song in her heart throughout the day and blesses us by singing or humming it.
Thursday night we attended a Gospel Meeting and she had her handy dandy notebook…as always. With pencil in hand she could have written anything. She could have drawn pictures, notes to her friends, birthday wishes…anything. The following is what I read after the services were over:
Emmas Bibl Lesen
I love God
Evury budy shuld love God becus He is the liyt (light)
He is the glury (glory) He is the God
She then finished her paper by writing the entire song,
Jesus loves me.
Oh, if we could all strive to be more childlike… pure and willing to submit to God.

Okay, I’m finding myself frustrated and tired. The end to the boxes and the work seems no where in sight, schoolwork is never ending, and I feel like a well run dry when it comes to ideas for dinner…thus my post. I feel like I am boring my family with the same things at dinner, day after day, week after week. So, I am on my knees begging for ideas and recipes for dinner.
Wait…let me give you a little bit of info before you post.
I do not like things that crawl or ingredients that have to be purchased in Garbonza, Tiareno. I have been told I have a boring pallet…don’t listen to her…she’s lacking in brain cells (you know I love you.) Remember the five children I must please!
I would love to hear family friendly, time friendly, money friendly, able to get the ingredients at Wal-mart friendly (because that is really the only place to get groceries), recipes. Recipes that are tried and true…things that your kids will eat.
Please, Please, Please!!!! I am begging for your help. My sanity is at stake (or steak) here!! I’m a donkey on edge!!!

As John Denver sings:
I'm leavin' on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again...
