The boys are keeping me busy! and I'm finding it harder to find time for pleonast - or much of any computer time for me. I'm taking advantage of Kaden taking a nap and Alton playing quietly to update with a few pictures and maybe a video . . .
Kaden just had his 2 month check up and I had predicted he was already 15 pounds - I was close! He is 14 lbs 9 oz! Alton never grew this fast! We've already moved Kaden up a size in clothes and up 3 sizes in diapers (we were having lots of blow outs that the smaller sizes just weren't containing - and that's probably much more info than you wanted to know :) Oh, and he's grown a few inches too - 24.5 inches now.
Here are a few pictures - -
Oh, I can't figure out how to post a video.
Hi, Kristi and Joel - Letha King here. Just stumbled upon your blog and so happy to see the pictures of your family. Your boys are adorable. Kurt (Martin, who preaches here for us now) had told me you had another little boy, and I am so happy for you. My granddaughter (Julia Huntley) and her husband, Chris, have three boys now. The latest one was born July 3. They live up in Missouri. Hope I can see you before long. Love, Letha
hey, cory designed the swingset and made it himself with a few guys "holding" the big pieces. it was a step by step process and while it is still not finished...it will be awhile before the kids can do the next things we add so no need to rush now! are your friends still interested in the garage sale stuff?
so far we have spent more than the kits that he was trying to "do it cheaper than that" if that helps any in your decision!! toysrus has some too as well as sutherlands if you have that there. there are also lots on line that you can either pay for the wood to come with it or just the extras and plans and you by the wood at home. as far as sizes go the girls stuff is 0-8/10 and boys 0-24mo/2t. i heard about that sale but i won't be able to make it this time, maybe in the spring. :)
Hey, Kristi, it was so good to see you at church recently, and your cute boys. I do hope Joel is back to his normal onery self by now. Tell him hi for me, and give the boys a kiss. You all do come over and visit anytime you can. Love seeing you, Letha
I hope that he finds out was is wrong and that they can help him real soon. Sunday night Mom, Dad and I went to the hospital. Cody was there with the kids.
I had forgotten how tiring having a newborn can be . . . Kaden seems to have his days and nights mixed up right now. He and I have been up from about 12:30 - sometime after 3am for a few nights and last night (or this morning) it was almost 5am! Surprisingly though today I'm not feeling as tired as I have been. I know things will get better! Just a matter of time! Hopefully we will be getting out for a little while later today - I really need to go grocery shopping - I haven't been in almost 4 weeks now! My sister is here for a few weeks so I'll have some help for our first outing. Alton does seem to be growing up fast now. Before today he's not really said any real words - but this morning he said "back pack" (we were watching Dora the Explorer while we ate breakfast), and before his nap we read a book about colors and he repeated almost all of the colors back to me! He's also been saying "Chugga chugga choo choo whoo whoo!" alot lately. Here are some recent pictures - -
Looks like Alton went to the same eating school Faith did... if it isn't all over her then she probably didn't eat anything. Your boys looks so different but both are adorable!
cute pictures!!! thanks for the picture update. kaden has more hair than anna already, and she is 14 months old. i'm jealous. hope you can somehow manage to get some rest soon. good luck
Hope you guys had a wonderful 4th of July. I know what you mean about the kids growing up so fast. Clara is now really beginning to use her sign language. It just comes out of nowhere. It amazes me.
i had some 5 and one pair of 6 shoes and i think they are still there but most of the clothes are 24 mo not 2's but there are probably a few 2s in there. we will be leaving to go on vacation mond
monday the 28th and be back sometime that fri or sat depending on if we want to stop and stay in austin with brian and tami or just stop visit and then keep going. and i will have to be getting stuff gone by that weekend and early that week i think as boys will probably moving in. i havent talked to cory yet but we may do the garage sale again next weekend???

yay! i was hoping this was pictures! i think he looks like joel! can you believe all that hair? adalyn had a lot of hair like that when she was born. he's a cutie pie!
oh how precious, he looks so much like his big brother in the bottom one! congratulations and we're so glad that everything is going well for your family. :)
He was born at 4:15 this morning and is 9 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long and has thick dark hair. That's about 5 oz heavier than big brother Alton and 2 inches shorter! Both of us are doing great - but have to stay in the hospital until Saturday morning (which is also my 30th!!). I'm positive for strep and they want to keep us here and monitor Kaden for 48 hours to be sure I didn't pass it along to him. Alton came this afternoon to meet his new little brother. He was fascinated with his nose and hands and kept touching both and tried to taste one of Kaden's hands. Sorry no pictures right now - I'm not able to download them here at the hospital. I'll post pictures when we get home and settled.
