So band is going good. The season's just about over, though. Our last football game is tomorrow, but the band's not going. We've done pretty good on competitons. First place band in our class in all competitions but one. First place percussion in all but one, too. We have state Saturday! I think we'll do pretty good. This is the first year our band has gone to state(our school is only six years old). I am so excited!

Saturday's competition went pretty well. Again, this was the first time our school went to state. We didn't make finals, the top ten in our division. Our band placed 14th out of 27 bands that attended. Our percussion placed 15th, colorguard, 17th, and our field commander placed 4th. Even though we didn't make finals, I still feel like we did really well.
Marching season is over, so I'm getting ready for jazz and concert. But I still can't wait for marching season to start up again next year, even though I'll miss the seniors.
oh that would be wonderful!!! We are gonna have to figure out how to go to the DCI championships someday together!!! I used to go to the one that was held in Huntington WV when I was in high school. I am not sure they even do it there anymore.
