What beautiful children!! Me too--I don't know what it is about professional pictures being done, but I need to do it more often. Maybe this will motivate me! :)
They are all so, so cute!!!!! What adorable faces they all have:) I love their smiles too:) You can tell they are brother and sisters:)
You are so blessed:)
I have been wanting to get the kids pics taken all summer and haven't got there...not much time left:( I need to just do it, but it seems like something always comes up...
I love the tye-dye party! That's what I was thinking of doing for Sydney. Her birthday is in Oct. so I was thinking of doing these tye-dye pumpkin shirts that they had in Family Fun. Did you guys do any games, or just the shirts? I like the cake too that turned out really cool!
Please email me (email address on my home page) a dedication, thought or scripture that you would like put on the dedication page of the cookbook. We are also encluding camp directors etc. Thanks. P.S. I love the pictures!
Hey. We don't worship there, so I'm not sure exactly who is there. The only people I know for sure are Jennifer and Natalie and Betsy Stinson. Sorry if I
The party was good. The only bad thing about having it here instead of somewhere else was that I didn't really get to talk to anyone. I painted a few faces, we made some bracelets, and tie-dyed the shirts. The kids all had a great time.
Does anybody have any homemade remedies for an upper respiratory infection? I've had one for about two weeks now and it's not getting much better. I haven't been to a general practitioner in probably 20 years and don't even have one. It might be time to find one but just thought I'd try something old school first this weekend, if possible. My chest hurts and I have crazy coughing which is especially bad when I retire to bed in the evenings (or laugh too hard haha). Any suggestions??
Make some GOOT and rub it on your chest and feet every night. The garlic will act as a natural antibiotic and get you stronger fast. You will smell terrible though. :-(
Drink a lot of warm water as well. Warm clears out the lymph system. THere is a product we get for relief that Eric likes. It is tablets you put in the shower and they put eucylptus and other herbs in the air for you to breathe in. It helps if your chest is tight. We can get them at Walgreens.
So I'm not exactly sure how to resize this picture to make it smaller but wanted to share my success tonight! My now 2 year old boy, Max, enjoys Little Einsteins so I set out to make him a rocket cake for his party tomorrow night. It turned out better than I expected with a little help from my mother in law! Had to share :) Actually, I still need to stick a red lollipop on top but you get the idea.
That is an awesome cake. And just to let you know how well you did... I knew before I ever read your comments that it was Little Einsteins. Nice job ducky
Will 2 lbs. of Aluminum Sulfate per hydrangea bush kill it?? I was attempting to change the color of our pale pink hydrangeas and am scared I just plain killed them. Anyone with a green thumb?? I'm just sick about this! Hopefully they're dying due to the high temps and dry weather right now...
No ideas here, either. I know you can change the color by changing the pH of the soil, but I've never done it before. To be honest, in my childhood I only saw hydrangeas at houses of old ladies, so I still make that correlation. :)
It was probably only about 75 degrees outside. I don't think they were hot, it was just hard for them to move because those things were made for adult sized people!
So, once your kids were "ready," how long did it take? Just curious. As for the Leapfrog, I really have no idea. One of my relatives asked if we wanted one for T for Xmas. Didn't know there was such an extensive line!
My husband has a number of different interests. I usually leave them alone but after a period of time, I sometimes become interested and see what the fuss is all about. This post is about my dipping into two of his interests:
Wii - Have you played the Nintendo Wii? It is seriously fun. For a number of weeks, my husband could be heard from the basement rocking out with the Guitar Hero III game. He's a total golf guy, not a rocker. I finally gave in and gave this game a go. It is totally fun and I've finished the medium level. Hilarious. If you have opportunity to play it, do.
Dirty Jobs w/Mike Rowe - When my husband watches TV it is usually some odd show like this one if it isn't the Chicago Cubs. I tuned in with him one late night last week (OK yes it was Friday and this is what our late Friday evenings have come to as thirty-somethings with three kids) and the dirty job was all about gooey ducks. Never heard of them but it was very interesting. At the end of the show, Mike was asking for folks to send in their ideas for dirty jobs to continue the show. I had one today! My 22 mo. old boy has learned to purposefully pas gas for laughs. It is disgusting. This evening I heard him cracking up from the bath tub and he was at his old tricks. Only this time the gas was productive. IN THE BATH TUB!! Being a mom, or dad, of a young child can be a DIRTY JOB! Blech. What do you think? Episode worthy? lol
I can relate...my husband also plays guitar hero with Ashley and also likes watching Dirty Jobs. He has several of those "odd" (maybe different is a better word) shows he watches and I have even on occasion gotten into watching them myself....it MUST be age. LOL
As for your episode of "dirty jobs" I definately think it is episode worthy...unfortunately not sure TV-land would agree. Good luck...:)
I've played Guitar Hero a couple of times and totally enjoyed it. Quite difficult, too.
Hilarious story about your kid. I've seen a couple of episodes of Dirty Jobs, and it is a disgusting show! I couldn't imagine doing what he does every week. Yuck!
I know he had to give ice cream up but I always think of him when ice cream is mentioned. The price on Graeters is so high, $5 for a pint! We won't be buying anymore anytime soon. Do you have plans to do anything special when you are in CA?
