In a good way.
Monday I had my usual 8-4 classes including a Western Civ test, math homework due, plus a guitar lesson at 6 and I thought I was coming down with the plague that has been ripping through FC over the last few days but I got over it.
Tuesday: I had an appointment to discuss switching my major to music (yes, I'm considering it) and deciding what classes I should take to see whether or not that's a good choice for me. Then after chapel and Bible I had my real advising appointment to sign up for classes. I started on my speech that's due MONDAY and is 20% of my grade that really hasn't come very far along. At all. I completely forgot about yearbook at 4. Then there was a Footlighters meeting at 6 (skipped my society meeting. Oops), and a prayer meeting for the election at 7, and then back to the library to work on math homework until curfew.
Today: 8-4 classes again, along with a PE test, and Bible getting stretched out so that I had even less of a lunch break (meaning I didn't actually sit down in the caf. Literally ate and ran). Math quiz today. Took pictures at 4:15 for yearbook, then had a Freshman class officers meeting at 5, which went until 5:50, and I found out during the meeting (the joys of texting) that I was invited to someone's house for dinner before church, so I ran to the dorm and got ready in FIVE minutes, and left at 5:55. Yeah, I'm good. Had HOME-COOKED FOOD, and then went to services, which were wonderful as always.
Tomorrow: Biology quiz/lab at 8. Falcon Days starts! I'm going to have 3 baby Falcons that I'm so excited about! :D :D I'm ushering for the play (dressed as a hic!) at 5:15. Play at 6. Violin concert at 8. "Meet your host" party for Falcons and hosts at 9. Bible SI at 9:30.
Friday: 9:15-4 classes. BIOLOGY TEST. Have I studied? Of course not. BBQ at gym at 5:30. Game at 7. MOSI singing at 9:30.
Saturday: Bio extra credit field trip to the zoo in the morning. (Any and all extra credit is welcome, believe me) Orchestra in St. Petersburg at 8.
Sunday: GET MY STINKIN' SPEECH READY. Chorus practice at 8:30.
Monday: Bible test. Math test. SPEECH. SBGA meeting. First chorus concert. Yeah...
During any and all gaps: STUDY LIKE CRAZY and have fun with Baby Falcons. :)
SO, there's my life. Notice how I'm not studying right now...
Please remember that this is our Father's world. Oh let us never forget that though the wrong seems oft so strong, God is the ruler yet. |
