So yesterday I went down to the vending machine to get myself a pop. The machine had a sticker on it that said, "we now take fives!" "Cool!", I thought to myself, "I'll break a five and get some of those dollar coins back to feed my addiction for the rest of the week!" So I dopedly put in my five dollar bill, select "C7" and wait for my pop to drop. The refreshing beverage falls to the bottom of the machine as promised, and then I hit the jackpot!! I got $3.50 back ... in DIMES. Yep, that's 35 dimes now jingling around in my pocket. (Well, actually only 32, 'cause 3 of 'em shot out of the little change door and rolled under the vending machine never to be seen again.) YAY!
I hate dimes. :P |

So Dom and his sister Hollie and I carved our Halloween pumpkins, and here they are ...
Mine is an alien,
And Dom's is ... Dum da da dum ...
Darth Vader.
Very excited about them :) Despite the fact that someone broke the thin little pumpkin knife while we were carving and I had to run all over looking for another one before finding one at CVS.
RD over and out. :) |

10. Crisp cool mornings with frost on my windsheild.
9. The feel of a hot mug of tea in my hand on the way to the frosty car.
8. Tea with cinnamon.
7. Stomping and kicking the crunchy fallen leaves :)
6. Cool sunny afternoons that make me want to leave work early.
5. Leaving work early, sometimes 0:)
4. Picking out pumpkins and making Jack-O-Lanterns.
3. The start of hockey season!
2. The smell of woodsmoke from peoples' chimneys.
And the number one thing I absolutely LOVE about fall is ....
1. Pumpkin bagels and pumpkin cream cheese from Manhattan Bagel. Seriously the best things ever!! :)
What do you love about fall?

Finally bit the bullet and went gold ... yay for galleries!! :)
A few weeks ago Dom and I took a trip to Quebec City with his sister Jill. What a gorgeous city! With everyone speaking French and all the ancient architecture, it really felt like being in Europe. We literally took over 500 pictures, but here's just a few for your enjoyment :)
I really want to go back during the winter sometime to see the city all covered with snow and ice :)
Well, I need to get back to work. Everyone have a wonderful day! |
