So today was Presidental Election Day and we went so Mom and Dad could vote! At first we chilled at the building but then Mom brought us over and we got to chill with Sarah and her Mother until it was time for us to go back to Dad and Jonathan II and our spot in line!!!
After voting and such Jonathan II and Dad got haircuts and Joshua got his first "real" haircut at the barber shop!
We then got McDonalds and came home!!!
Toodle Loo!!
really? so how does it work? Yaay! momma voted and we went with her. oh wow! yall had a line? that stinks. there wasn't one here. there never is though. our town is smaller. haha
^^I think she took a bit too much off, but after a bath it looked better. I'm NOT ready to part with those golden curls and it will probably look better to me in a few weeks :)
Hello!
So the last movie I watched was Indiana Jones: The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull! I didn't watch it the first time Hannah and Sarah did because I didn't know if it would creep me out or not so I watched a different movie with Julia on the laptop cause Dad said it would probably creep her out and he didn't know if it would creep me out!
So last night we watched it a second time (Julia still didn't watch it.) and the girls told me when to look away at the creepy parts! (The second time Mom watched it with us.)
Well now I have to go eat lunch!
Toodle Pip!
I am the same way! I cannot watch creepy movies or I will have nightmares for a while!! I am 30 years old and I scare EASY!! Thankfully, I have a wonderful husband who looks out for me and warns me...I can't even watch creepy/scary previews!!
Hello! If you look at Her blog you will see what we have been up to!!
We've finally gotten the puppies in the house!! Yes, they still take watching so they don't chew anything, but it should be nicer not having to go into the garage!
Thor is scared of the stairs!! Probably since I tripped on them!!
:O Last night he wouldn't go up (not even for a rawhide!) so Hannah ended up carrying him up!!! :)
Arwen was at first (being used to all the puppies attention) jealous at the attention Aragorn was getting from them!! And she got all protective over the food!
Freya seems to be the one to get teamed up on the most! Probably cause she is the smallest!!
Aragorn seems rather calm about them being in the house!
HS camp is only 4 days away not including today!!!
We are leaving Sunday afternoon and staying in a hotel Sunday night then continuing the rest of our trip Monday!
We should arrive at Shakamak Monday afternoon!!
As for this week: Friday we are babysitting a 3 year old girl that we worship with, and Saturday we have to deposit the dogs to the kennel, and pack, pack, pack!!!
^They are all ridiculous. *lol* Thor is fifty pounds, and you wouldn't believe how hard it is to carry him up slippery wooden stairs with Aragorn bouncing around under your feet, tons of fur in your face, and Thor wriggling all over. o_o
Hehe. :) We plan to leave Saturday, and Mom is going to help with the shopping on Sunday, I think, and then we'll probably get to the campground 'round about noon, or whenever we're allowed in, I imagine. =)
Have any of you heard of a movie called "Nim's Island"?
It was one of the last movies I watched and it is really good!!
So what was the last movie everyone else watched?
Does Veggie Tales Huckleberry Larry and Tomato Sawyer count as a movie? I need a good movie recommendation. :-)
I watched part of Fellowship of the Ring the other day.
I don't have a lot of time for the watching of movies lately...
I found out this evening that the lady Mom cleans for actually let us borrow Nim's Island. =P So we watched it tonight. It was... Odd. I think I agree with her accessment.
I thought Nim's Island was hilarious. I wasn't looking for depth or plot superiority, though...I thought Jodi Foster did a great job. It was my kind of humor, for certain...
I only expect greatness from period fiction and some isolated fantasy flicks...other than that, I'm just hoping for some amusement :)
^I certainly can't say I was expecting greatness from it. It was pretty funny. Just not anything like what was expecting. (Though, I'm really not sure what I was expecting. =P)
I can explain! See, just got this new spankin' laptop, and I wanted to test it out and make sure it played DVDs, so I just popped in the closest DVD at hand- Anastasia.
Yeah, I had a lot of fun trying to explain that to Jake when he walked in the room when I was watching that...
