I wasn't going to buy anything today. I spent the whole day working on a wedding. And then my boy came home and showed me some great deals on Amazon, and there went my $200 for new photography toys. Grr.
*** Black Friday was named so because accountants used red ink for losses and black ink for profits. ***
In other random news, I would like to sell a few Compact Flash (CF) cards. I have outgrown my 1G and 2G cards and I've been sad to see them unused this whole season. Let me know if you're interested. I use Lexar and Sandisc cards. $10/1G, $20/2G. Sigh... I remember when I bought my first 1G card for $270...
Not only did she go out in the snow, she went with no jacket and in her nice shoes. I can't wait to show you this mess. But I do have to admit, I admire her courage. It was a good day.
And I'm shooting wedding #32. The ceremony is at 4, so obviously by the time it's done it will be dark. And snowy. And COLD. And the bride wants pictures outside, in a park. I think she's crazy.
We'll probably just end up doing pictures inside, and I just know she will be disappointed.
If she wanted pictures in the park, maybe another time of the year for the wedding would have been better. I'm sure you'll think of some way to capture her November wedding in a more seasonal appropriate manner. Your pictures are fabulous...how could she be disappointed in them...unless it's just the season and weather.
