So I found someone to rent the condo and it sounds like he will be a great tenant. (Running the credit check tomorrow). Ryan W. is an IT guy, has a son in elementary school, owns his own condo in Atalanta, willing to make all the minor repairs that need to be done. Very calm and so far all of his stories check out.
This is in comparison to the last week of my life being consumed with the headaches of deidra m. who has lied to me at least 3 times and when filling in the application to rent, left 50% of it blank. you know, all the employer and prior landlord references... hmmm. someone not wanting me to check up on their past. then her "lawyer" called who turns out to be an employee at an adoption agency. sounds like they just adopt kids to get government money. Thanks to my wonderful pepaw he told me what to look out for and it is always better to be safe than sorry.
so the past week has been filled with packing packing packing packing packing and more packing... right now my back is refusing to do any more... so i thought i would keep my public updated about the great news.
as long as i get the contract from my lawyer tomorrow we should be able to sign papers tomorrow night and the road to funness begins.
lucky for me i have some friends out of the country who i will be house sitting for until i leave in september... woohoo.
well...
next major task... visa |
