This season I watched the first episode of The Biggest Loser and decided I would try to watch the whole season. Then, I had something going on for about three weeks before I saw it again. I couldn't believe how good everyone looked in that time!
I have to give them a lot of credit. I would never want to work that hard. I always feel so sorry for them. But, it is really paying off!
So, now that some of them are getting close to my weight, I thought I'd try to work harder and lose along with them.
I haven't done so well - I can barely get the energy to stay in the 20-min challenge, much less work a fraction as hard as they are doing. I have increased my walking to 30 min. - whoppee
I need some motivation, especially with the holidays approaching. SO MUCH yummy fattening food shows up at work EVERY DAY at this time of year.
Is anyone else trying to lose weight this holiday season? |

Thanks for participating.
Don't get me wrong - I like Ss alot. I mean, what's not to like? I just usually say or do something (in ignorance) that offends my S co-workers - people I really like. I don't even know what I've done until they have a melt down and tell me. That's why I tremble. Anyway, hopefully that won't happen here in Pleo land.
Everyone have a great weekend! |

For those unfamiliar with the DISC profile, this sums it up:
The trip to the mall.
An "I" sees a group of people she/he knows and goes over, gets in the middle of the group and has everyone laughing.
An "S" sees a group of people she/he knows and talks to a few one on one.
A "C" sees a group of people she/he knows and pretends not to see them and continues shopping.
A "D" doesn't go to the mall, she/he sends someone else.
Now, supposedly it helps one to know which "type" one is, and which "type" one's co-workers are, so we can all better understand each other and work together.
I'm sorry to say it, but I tremble when I find out someone is an "S". I just don't know how to deal with S's. It's very complicated and requires choosing one's words carefully, and even if said words are chosen carefully, they are usually mis-understood and turned into something negative.
***Sigh***
So, which type then, do you think I am? |

Time is flying.
I've been busy and tired lately. Don't have a lot to say, but the Halloween pictures have to go. Here's a few from our zoo trip.

The little flower came to visit Grammie at work. And, in front of my coworkers she finally spoke my name - "Gi" :)
