We put our christmas tree up today and pulled out all of the decorations. Good memories in the making.
Jonah wanted to sleep on the couch tonight to be by the tree. He doesn't really get the concept of christmas yet but he loves the tree and ornaments. He'll be even more excited when there are presents under it. :)
It snowed a little bit today but not near enough to stick to the ground. It was pretty cold though so I made some delicious chili tonight. The perfect day for it. Of course Jonah would not eat it.
I need to really get serious with my christmas shopping but I just do not want to get out with all the crazy people. And I especially don't want to have to tote 2 kids around with me. The holidays seems to get more and more stressful the older I get.
anyways, I'll leave you with a picture of a cute baby with just a little bit of a smile
If you know what you want, I'd recommend Amazon.com. You could get it all in once place and save a ton on shipping if you got it at once. Just a thought. :) Cute baby boy!
I love putting up the tree!! Bryce is upset that we are not doing it this year, we're in the middle of selling the house and need to start packing. I told him that we are going to have to depend on Grandma this year:o)
in response to your last post: no... my family and i were discussing it last night, how we hadn't heard of it at all.. but we slowly realized everyone we know have read the whole SERIES (?) and a movie is out. ah well! as soon as your little baby gets old enough y'all need to come visit again! :)
I keep hearing of people who have but I haven't read anything but my Bible and kids books since Bryce was born. It might be easier to rent the movie when it comes out on DVD....it would save us a few hours;o)
oh, I keep meaning to ask if you got the cloth diapers and knew how they all worked? Have you tried them yet? I can't remember what size I bought for you.
Well our house is slowly starting to come together thanks to my hardworking husband being over there every day since we closed. I hardly see him anymore, but he's doing an awesome job. The carpet was put in yesterday and today we moved all of our furniture over there. It's starting to look more like home now. We still need to finish the kitchen and bathroom but hopefully that will be done soon. We have to be out of our apartment in a week so we have a lot of cleaning up to do here still. (no fun)
This past month has just been crazy busy with all that's been going on. Dylan will be a month old on Tuesday and I feel like I've completely missed it all because I've been so distracted with everything. And poor Jonah has spent a lot of time watching movies or playing by himself because we've been so pre-occupied. I am SO ready for things to start slowing down so I can enjoy the time with my kids and not have so many other things to worry about.
I'd also like to see my husband a little more. That would be nice. :)
Oh well. This will all pass soon and be just a memory. right??
a lot of craziness in the beginning of his little life!!! Everyime I think things will slow down, they dont, hopefully that will not be the case for ya'll ;o) They are young and won't remember it
it was our pleasure. Believe me, I know what it's like to have so much work to do, you just don't know where to start. You've got a darling little house and I'm happy for you guys!!
