But, so far the Raiders are undefeated.
We beat Barbers Hill 27-7 i think.
And the week before we beat Hamshire-Fannet 21-7.
We're on a roll.
Game for this week:
Friday, September 12 at 7:30.
We play Silsbee and it's there.
Be there.
CORRECTION: No game this week. I'm so mad.
Dang hurricane. Nobody wants you hear.
GO AWAY!
We beat HF the other night of course. It was a wonderful game. I loved getting to see Bethany and Cody. And doing a pre-game show with the HF band. It was loads of fun. And for our first performance we did pretty good. Although at one point I proceeded to go forwards and instead of backwards. Stupid me.
So I hate this hurricane. I'm glad we're staying. It'll be fun. And we don't have to sit in traffic. So yay for us. Church was quite intresting this morning. A whole 50 people showed up. I absolutely loved it. No school Tuesday. Stupid Gustav.
Football game Friday night at 7:00 at Raider Stadium. We play Barber's Hill. Be there.
CORRECTION: Football game is SATURDAY night at 7:00. :)

I hope everyones first day of school was amazing. I know mine was. I have some pretty darn hard classes. It's gonna be incredibly challenging. But i'll have fun. My schedule is Applied Music, Raider Pride Homeroom, English 2 Pre-AP, Geometry Advanced, Band, World History Advanced, Chemistry Pre-AP, Spanish 1 and Band again! YAY!!!! I'm way excited!!!
I'm way excited about football season. It starts Friday and we play HF. Be there. The band has worked incredibly hard for the first game and we hope to have all of the charts done for friday which I know for a fact we can acomplish. So, come support us. And I'm having an after-party at my old house and we're going swimming so you could join me, although it will be pretty darn late. But thats the fun of it. I love my raiders! :)
So my journey to make the All-State band has been going along okay. My tone sounds so darn gorgeous. I'm way excited. If I make state as a sophomore and make it again my junior and senior year, I will probably get a full ride to college. So it's just something to look forward to. The Banning family is still convinced that i['m going to make it no matter what while I'm still having my doubts, especially Mr.David. I'm gonna try my hardest! It will be an amazing experience, especially since it starts on my birthday.
Pray for me.
Keep God in your heart.
Love the Lord.
So I had a blonde moment this afternoon after lunch which is not all that rare now days. I was going to drive to wal-mart and picked up the keys on the kitchen table and walked out the door and got in the car to figure out that it wouldn't crank. I started panicking. But when I glanced down I saw that my mom had left the keys in the console and that I didn't have the right keys. How stupid am I???
Anyways, the sermon this morning was wonderful. It hit home in many areas. It just helped me see that I need to turn to God in times of trouble.
Oh and by the way...I went to the eye doctor last tuesday before I went to summer band and they found in one of the pictures they took that I have an enlarged optic nerve. How creepy is that? I went to a specialist and everything should be ok. However, I do have to get a cat scan and spinal tap, which I'm not looking forward too.
I gotta go practice! I'm so going to be in the 4A Texas All-State Band this year (or at least thats what The Banning family seems to think.)
Remember everything that God has done for you,
Lindsey. :)
I'm just gonna have to say, this has been an amazing summer! I'm so dissapointed it's almost over. I've gotten a lot closer to God and everyone at church. People have been willing to be there for me. For example, Todd knows everything about what i'm going through and has always been there for me. Anytime I need anything. Even if it's just someone to listen, he's been there. As have Rachel and Jessica and Laura and John and Brett. :) I've enjoyed getting to hear Reuben and Todd preach as well. And getting to do things with the northwest kids. They are soo uplifting to me and they are fun to be around. And it's been fun hanging out with Kelly. And late night starbucks trips. And riding home at night with the windows down listing to rap music. Sadly my summer is almost officially over. Summer band kinda messes everything up. But anyways, just remember whatever your troubles are, God is always there.
