I get kinda upset when a character that I like dies in any fictional story that I'm interested in, but not enough to really upset me. I just found a spoiler for Gears of War 2. I didn't know much about the character that died, but I actually cried.
IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN GETTING GEARS OF WAR 2 OR HAVE IT BUT HAVEN'T GOTTEN TO THIS POINT IN THE CAMPAIGN AND DON'T WANT IT SPOILED FOR YOU, THEN DON'T SCROLL DOWN!
One of may favorite characters in the game, Dom, lost his wife like 14 years before the events in the first game take place. He didn't know if she was dead or not. In Gears of War 2, he's spent 15 years looking for her. Well about halfway through the campaign, he finds her. She appears normal at first, but then she starts looking deformed cuz she's been infected with some kind of sickness. After 15 years of looking for her, Dom is forced to kill her to end her suffering. I'm still pretty upset, but now I'll be prepared for when I get to that point in the game. Sorry if you don't really care, but I was really upset and really felt sorry for Dom when I found out. I know it's just a game, but who said video game deaths can't affect you emotionally?
Logan, you can't take those people on the group so seriously... you liked the movie, as did I and many other people... there are just some people who are OVERLY opinionated. I just tune them out!!!
I wasn't offended! I just don't want you to get so upset with those people... there are SO many people in life that are going to really dissapoint you... you just have to learn to tune them out! Or you will always be upset... and that's no way to live :-)
