without power. Our major fridge contents have been moved to the Odle's garage fridge. We still have condiments and odds and ends to clean out and a yard full of debris to clean up.
We're spending our evenings at my parents' house, Panera, the gym...wherever we can find light! It could be much worse, so we are thanking God for his protection.
We're expecting two weeks without power, so we're also praying that the weather will remain cool. It's going to be interesting...sigh....
Who knew the hurricane would have such an impact on you guys up there. Coulter's mom called today to tell us they'd been without power and didn't expect it for at least another day. I'm surprised it's going to take you so long to get it back
I'm glad to hear that you are okay. I asked Michelle about you on Sunday night, and she hadn't heard anything, so I've been kind of worried. Also glad that you have a fridge alternative so that not everything is lost! Hope the power's back on soon.
Are you still willing to take pictures? I keep thinking how quickly the time is getting away from us. If you have time we probably need to do them within the next few weekend.
No concrete plans in the works. This weekend we have plans here (though they could be changed if need be). Any other weekend should be fine. I just want the weather to be favorable. Either of the first 2 wknds in October should work.
