I have to share this cute story.
We were driving today, and I was talking to Annalyssa and Joel about the election today and about the importance of voting. Annalyssa asked who I was going to vote for, and I told her. I made the comment, "there wasn't much to choose from." She asked why I wasn't voting for George Bush? Well, I said, his term of another 4 years is up. She was astonished to realize he had already been President for 8 yrs total. From the back seat, Joel, who had been intently listening, asked, "What's that guy's name on the dollar bill? Oh yeah, George Washington. I'd vote for George Washington. I laughed and said, "Sorry, you guys are out of luck, both Georges are not in the running!
This is to any of you in the Dallas/Fort Worth area...
This is the last week for my daughter Annalyssa, to sell the rest of her GS Cookies! We have a little of everything left, so if you would like some let me know! Please!!!
Hope all are well and counting the many blessings God has bestowed on you!
You are too sweet! Yes, I'm going to visit Jeb & Sheila in May!! I'm so excited about the trip! I wish I lived closer to you so you could give me a crash course in Spanish before I go. :) It's so good to hear from you!
thanks! so good to hear from you! they do grow up so fast - my youngest will be 2 next month - doesn't seem possible! how many do y'all have now? your children are BEAUTIFUL 0 keep having more!! :)
Hey sis! You need a new post. I know there is never a dull moment at your house, so you bound to have something to post :). Miss you. Is it still snowing?
Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day with your loved ones. I spent the afternoon with my sweet Annalyssa, Joel, and Mathew baking and decorating cookies. Annalyssa made them from scratch. They are called vanilla rolled cookies. She is such the little baker. The recipe is from their great grandma, Scott's side. The cookies are delish! Each one was unique. Joel and Annalyssa are both so creative. I just enjoy slapping the icing on and eating them! They couldn't wait to share them with Daddy when he got home from work. It is so important to let them have fun in the kitchen! After dinner they brought out their homemade valentines. They were just as creative. They take pride in their homemade (with lots o love) cards and gifts. If any of you know my Annalyssa, you have benefitted from one of these! Happy hearts day, and wishing you many happy tomorrows!
That is so sweet! :) Happy Valentine's Day to you too. I'll have to show you how to post pics some time when we are together. I download them to photobucket.com and then post from that website onto pleo. :)
I'm so glad y'all had fun! I think it is so important to let the little ones in the kitchen & let them get creative....even if I have a HUGE mess afterwards. It's teaching them so much...and they have so much fun & create wonderful memories. If you look on my page, under groups click on pleo_guide or something like that...it tells you how to do just about anything on here.... We love y'all & miss you!
Hi Stacy! Yes it's me! I still remember hanging out with you at King's Island way back when! I was so "sick" and didn't know what was wrong with me!! Almost 9 years later, I am still overwhelmed by God's blessings I receive through my daughter. She is one amazing girl. How are things in your country? Two beautiful boys I see! You have your hands full. How's Mom and Dad? Christopher? Has he gotten married or anything?
Hi everyone! I'm excited about becoming part of the pleonast fam, and keeping up with everyone. My personal time is limited and so hopefully I can comment and respond as often as possible.
Sophie still calls the navy checked GAP jumper her "Annalyssa dress". "Can I wear my Annalyssa dress?" In fact, I had to mend the straps last week... a couple were coming loose!!
ENjoyed hearing my M-I-L's account of Joella's wedding... something like "talented very young violinist though I never figured out who she was"... later we saw pictures online... YEAH Annalyssa!
Hi Mandy. This is Angel Hardin, Jonathan's wife. I thought I would come say hello to the real you. I can't believe that someone was pretending to be you. That is kind of scary. I'm glad you caught it before it went on for too long.
