Hey guys- it's Erica again. So since Mary Ann is quite the busy lady with her 4 amazing children, I told her I would quickly update everyone and let y'all know that the Roberts are GREAT, tired, but GREAT!! The girls are growing and are so incredibly cute and snuggly! Jesse and Andy love their little sisters!! Jesse told me the other day, "Miss Erica, aren't my sisters just so precious. I love them so much." It's really cute! Jimmy and Mary Ann brought the girls to church for the first time Sunday morning and I snapped a quick picture of the kids for them and I'm going to post in for everyone to see. I'm sure if Mary Ann ever gets a second she'll update you, but for now they are doing great! :) Hope y'all are all doing good and that everyone had a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Wow, at first I thought they looked like Jesse with the earlier pics, but these two young ladies seem to be miniature Andys! :-) THANKS so much for the update, I think about them a lot and love seeing new pictures and hearing what they are up to!
FYI TODAY FROM SARAH CHANDLER:
_______________________________
Hey Everyone,
Just heard from Pam. Suzanna and Mary Ann will be going home later this afternoon/evening. Sarabeth is going to have to stay behind for a few days. She is doing fine but just not quite where they need her to be so she's going to be hanging out at EAMC for a few more days. If I understand all this correctly that means Mary Ann will be traveling back up to the hospital every other feeding, (about 5 to 6 hours), to continue nursing Sarabeth.
Hopefully Sarabeth will continue making progress and hopefully speed up the progress a little bit so they won't have to do that for too many days. No guess yet as to when she might be able to come home but she is doing fine.
I wasn't able to get details as to why the situation changed from letting Mary Ann and Suzanna hang out in the room but my guess would be that the hospital probably needed the room. Last night when I left the hospital the maternity waiting room was FULL of people!!!
In any case I just wanted to pass this new information on to everyone as soon as possible.
As always, the Roberts wanted me to send their thanks for all the food, help, and the many prayers!

We're so thrilled about your precious girls! We hope to get to see all of you when we come to visit Brian. Hopefully by then, you will all be settled in at home.
This is Erica again. I wanted to update this for Mary Ann so that everyone knows what is going on with the girls in case you didn't already know. Saturday night late Sarabeth was put back on an IV for low blood sugar and put in an isolette because she was unable to maintain her body temperature and Sunday Suzanna was put on phototherapy for jaundice. Here is the updates that I've gotten today on them:
Sarah Chandler sent me an e-mail today letting me know that Mary Ann has been released as a patient from the hospital and that Suzanna was put into her room and Mary Ann is considered a "guest" of hers. They are hoping that within the next few days that Suzanna can be released as a "patient" and that Sarabeth will be able to go into that room and that Mary Ann and Suzanna can be the "guests" of her. (I hope this is all making sense.) Sarah said that Mary Ann is hoping that they can go home either Saturday or Sunday, but nothing is definite. It all depends on the girls progress, which really has been GREAT!
This is the update that Pam (Mary Ann's step-mom) sent to Laura today:

Suzanna is off the phototherapy for jaundice but they haven't heard the results from the check this morning. She has been able to maintain her body temperature so is able to hang out wth Mom in the room.
Sarabeth is still in the isolette to maintain her body temperature and for phototherapy for jaundice. She comes out for every other feeding. When she's in the isolette, she stretches as far as she can and seems to be content in her personal baby spa. She is no longer on the IV fluids because her sugar level is stable and she is staying hydrated. Both girls are eating well and gaining back the weight they have lost since birth. This morning Suzanna weighed 5.6 and Sarabeth weighed 4.8.
Thank everyone for the prayers offered on behalf of these little ones as well as the rest of the Roberts family. We serve an awesome God.

Please continue to keep the Roberts in your prayers. The girls really are doing great and I know Jimmy and Mary Ann can't wait to finally have them home!!! They are still requesting no visitors at the hospital at this time so that they can focus on the girls. If I get anymore updates I will definitely keep everyone informed for Mary Ann. We need to thank our WONDERFUL Lord for no major problems and that he allowed these two beautiful little girls to come into this world and become part of such an amazing family like the Roberts! We are all so blessed!!! Thanks again.
In Christian Love,
-Erica Seymore

Thanks, I didn't know! It sounds like they are getting great care and I know MA is the best momma the girls could ever have. I CANNOT wait to meet these kids.
This is Erica. Mary Ann asked me to update this for her with pictures of the girls.
Suzanna Lee and Sarabeth Gail were born yesterday, October 24th, 2008 at around 7:54am and 7:55am.
Suzanna was 5lbs, 11oz and Sarabeth was 4lbs, 9oz. They are perfect and absolutely beautiful! I'm sure when Mary Ann gets a chance she'll update more. Please keep the Roberts family in your prayers as their lives are definitely changing now.
Thank you for your prayers and Thank our WONDERFUL Lord for healthy babies and a healthy Momma! :)
Here are some pictures:

Great pictures, beautiful kids! What is Jimmy going to do with all those female hormones in a few years?! ;) Hope everything goes wonderfully and your recovery is quick.
We visited the Davis family the other day and had a wonderful time as always. As we were sitting around Mitch started telling us about a word study that he had been doing on the word character and it has just stuck with me so I had to share. (I hope I do the explanation justice Mitchell). Apparantly the original word character meant the same as engrave. So when we see the character of Christ it is the same as seeing the character of God. When we see an engraving it depicts whatever the engraver had in mind. To get to that point he has to remove what is not needed or wanted to get the desired result. For us to get the character that we are striving for we must remove unwanted "material" from our hearts/minds. For all of you Fayetteville folks you may have heard this (I think it was part of a sermon) but I just thought it was very thought provoking. Nothing that we don't all know just said in a very practical concrete way.
As for family news we are adjusting to the idea of two more additions. We think we have settled on names. I am going to go ahead and put them out there with the notice that they are subject to change at the whim of a irrational pregnant woman......Sarabeth Gail and Suzanna Lee. Yes I know that Suzanna will come from Alabama with a banjo on her knee but I really like the name and Jimmy seems to like it well enough to overcome that fact as well. Jesse and Andy are doing well. Just growing so quickly. Andy is really becoming a little boy and not a baby. Jesse asked me the other night in the middle of Tony's sermon if we were in God's house which I responded yes. He then asked well, where is God's bedroom? Hee hee Why do they like to do things like that in the middle of a sermon? I almost choked trying not to laugh out loud.
Thanks for the thought-provoking comments. Like the names, especially the middle ones. :) However, you might practice calling the "S's" together. It's kind-of a tongue twister. I'm sure you had the same intention of calling me, as I did you (when I was Stateside). I hope to make it through the Plains in mid-October. Though, now that I think of it, maybe the girlies won't be there yet. Hmmmm . . . . might need to adjust the plan a little. Think we could stay with Sa-Sa?
So, I've been going over that song in my head for a while. It isn't Suzanna who came from AL, is it? It's the guy singing the song. Not that it really matters, but I got it stuck in my head. :(
Hey, I can meet you somewhere tomorrow to give you those purple hull peas if you want them. I don't really know what they look like when they start getting yucky, so you might have to cook them right away. Just give me a call or something :)
Oh, we are looking at an Oct 3rd inducement date. He is even a little nervous about stripping the membranes and sending me in to labor too quickly, so he said it would be better to do it the day before inducement late in the afternoon or not at all. I think I might actually skip it this time. That way we can get a good nights sleep before delivery. :)
I talked to Jimmy today after your doctors appt. I'm so excited and can't wait to meet the girls when they get here!! I love you, give Pam a big hug from me!
