Well, it's that time of year when all the family comes to town for Xmas. This year we're spending our first Xmas here and Magnus' family will be coming for a visit. The good news is that we'll definitely be handing off the kids for a little time to ourselves but the bad news is, it's only going to last a couple of weeks. I've found it's hard not to get along with your in-laws when they live across the world but now that we're living a bit closer to them, their frequent long stay visits may prove me wrong. I'm hoping they'll bring their white Xmas to us and if not, we may just send them home early. I've already warned them that this will be an American Xmas with N0, I REPEAT, NO pickeled herring or meatballs at my table. Just good old fashioned yorkshire pudding. |
