HUH??? Are you doing an "about face?" Has anyone ever heard Ben's sermon on Repentance? He did a great one at West Broad St (approx 10-11 years ago now), and I will never forget him explaining the definition of repentence. It was so cool because he literally marched across the . . .uh . . . stage? and did an "about face (or 180 degree turn)." Everytime I think about repenting or explaining repentence, that imagery pops into my head. Okay, since Malchi (singular form of Malchus) didn't write anything I thought I would :o)
ahh yes of course good chap I have engaged that philosophy much myself only I think I thought of it or perhaps referred to it as keep thy head above water, but your philosophy title sounds much more educated :)
hey there....almost done with school eh? Very exciting! I really dont know how I'm gonna get through. Every test so far I'e had a sick baby and thats not helping the scores :P Hae a good weekend
Miriam is the one who knows about SA, TX. I put a note on her page about y'all moving. She is super nice and I'm sure would be glad to offer whatever help she can.
It was SO GOOD to have you guys over... thanks for coming!
I still really like the NAS, but I've been with the ESV for over a year now and I use it for all of my main bible reading/study/sermons - go here to check out editions link
I like how you asked for a NAS and instead of help you can have my opinion also.......The Childrens Bible with the pictures I can read the entire Bible in a day. just a joke. I also use the esv.
I sit at the computer, so why not type? Thank you for all your good wishes. I appreciate them. I'm not doing much, but the doctor wants me verticle. I can't lift or move quickly, but he wants me walking around. I've been surprised at how well I feel. I'm mostly sore. Not particularly weak. Haven't been sick and certainly have not lost my appetite. I will take it easy -- I promise. I can go back to work on the 3rd (light duties) but no running around the school building for six weeks -- even though I'll probably feel like it. They say that's the hardest part. The way the surgery was done leaves you feeling ok and you forget there are internal incisions to heal. I'm just going try to take advantage of it.
Mark prefers the American Standard. It still uses the old English but corrects some of the things in the Old King James version. Those are hard to find. I've been using the NKJV.
Okay the Mitchell report, apparently two or more witnesses is only sometimes required.
I commented on this on his blog, but you know this is a really good idea that we should all start pushing for.
Don't just encourage!!! but MANDATE all professional athletes must take performance enhancing drugs!!!!
?????!?! HGH? !?!?!?! Ha!!!! that's for the little boys, I'm talking us seeing receivers that can run 3.7 - 3.8 and linemen the size of Dodge Dakotas and able to run in the low 4's.
Pitchers throwing 120 miles per hour, it's just endless.
Think of all the medical benefits. We can see how these drugs really do effect the system. There just might be a chance that something good will come out of this and if it doesn't, oh well.
Then after we find out what's good (or bad) we can start going to the old super power college teams and "assisting" them in their athletic development. Marshall, Nebraska, Colorado, Notre Dame, can all be "supplemental" powerhouses once more.
Then we Force the pharmaceutical companies to kick back monies to the leagues and set price ceilings on tickets so Joe Snuffy who can't shell out 45.00 for a nosebleed seat can go and watch the game and pay 15.00 for a hotdog and watered down Pepsi.
No matter how good the movie probably not a good idea to let a 5 year old watch "A Christmas Carol" might seem a little scary. Oops.
Well I was about to change my opinion about Grey's "ADULTERY" as I had read that in an effort to be more realistic with their show they had brought in a crew of medical professionals to talk about realistic actions and responses to the various traumas and day-to-day of working in the hospital. And what I saw was better but soon it fell back into the he slept with her and he is going to sleep with the other her and the one dude that left his wife to be with the third her said that he and the third her may get married someday but he wanted to make sure that the second time he did it it was forever and it was so sweet I felt the emesis in my mouth...
Other than that natalie helped me shovel the snow which she called looking for buried treasure and involved her digging like a puppy in the snow and kicking it all back up onto the driveway. then she promptly lay down in the middle of the driveway and began to make snow angels. then she yelled bury me in the snow i told her it was a bad idea she didn't believe me and then mom made her hot cocoa.
OH yeah does any one else agree with me that The Carpenters were spawned by the devil.
I might have to agree with you on the Christmas Carol. We even watched the muppet one and I think a few parts were a little much for my three year old! Oh Well! He will grow into it, I did!
You have to love that movie! I also love when Rizzo tells "charles dickens" he is there for the food. It is a classic, my sisters and I watch it every year! Our hubby's don't quite get the fascination.
