My poor baby is sick. :(
She had to come home from school yesterday. The doctor said today that she has a sinus infection, was on the verge of pneumonia again and that after this next cold front Thursday it would have been that bad. She got a shot in each leg of DepoMedro, a prescription for Prednisone and a prescription for two rounds of strong antibiotics. Please pray that all of that keeps her from getting sicker and will get her well.

This has got to be my favorite picture from Thanksgiving.
Emma had just spit-up on Lara. You can see the grimace on Lara's face and Emma looks like "who me?" :-D
Emma's bib says "Grandma's Little Gobbler". :)

We have had a WONDERFUL time since Wednesday when Jenny, Josh & Emma came to stay at my house.
We cooked, ate, shopped and then ate again.
It is such a blessing to have all my kiddos close.

Our first day of vacation started off pretty lazy ... but then we finally got our motors going. We (hopefully) finished the grocery shopping for our Thanksgiving meal. We also did a little more Christmas decoration shopping. Thanks to the fire and Farmers, we are getting all new Christmas decorations since all our holiday decorations, including tree, was right in the path of the smoke & soot in the attic. The last several years we have had a light colored theme with blues and sparkly stuff ... young teenager Ashley's choice ... but now we will have gold, green and red with a poinsettia theme. It is fun to buy decorations when you don't have to worry about a budget. My adjuster said to get what we need and send him the receipts. FUN! :)

Ashley wants to decorate for Christmas NOW! ;-)
I told her not until at least Thanksgiving evening.
