I am in awe...looking out over the coast of Maine in a lovely Bed and Breakfast (thanks to her). I am in the company of three lovely ladies who are having a grand time also. They were all due for some sister (and mom) time. They elected to take the day off doing nothing here in the B&B today (which was great with me). We have played, listened to music, watched movies, taken naps, and COLORED! Laura and I knew that all the girls missed coloring so we bought and brought coloring books and colors and I have some priceless pictures of all three of my girls lying on the bed coloring today...who would have thought that would ever happen? During my last nap, I resisted the urge, in prayer, to make requests and just repeatedly thanked God for all my blessings, several of whom are right here around me...Another of whom is home, alone, very happy that he was able to provide us with this very special "All-girl trip" (which was a Christmas gift from him that I just now "cashed in"). Thanks, Dad/Greg. We love you!! Thank you, too, Jon and Nic, for letting me borrow your sweet wives. They miss you so much! (I told them I would be worried if they DIDN'T miss their hubbies!) Must go back to relaxing... |
