Well I am finally getting around to posting. Things are going great! I LOVE being a mommy. Ashlyn is such a sweet baby. She rarely cries, unless she is cold. Nursing is going well just takes a lot of commitment at first. We are so blessed she was wonderful and coordinated people to bring us food. We have had food almost everyday and will until Dec. 6th. She'll never know how amazing that is until she has a little one of her own. On top of food we have had so may visits, flowers, cards, phone calls, leaves rakes, and prayers! Tim and I have sat and thanked God multiple times. We are truly surrounded by wonderful people who are teaching us so much about servant-hood. Here are some of my favorite pictures. Went to the doctor today and my blood pressure was elevated. It has been increasing so they decided not to risk it and just go ahead and indue on Wednesday. Right now they are full Tuesday night which is really when they would rather go ahead and start me, but there is a likely chance one of the other females could go into labor before then. So sometime Wednesday we will get to hold our sweet little girl, Lord willing! We are thrilled, but it now officially feels more real! I will try to post pics but more than likely she will be able to get them up before I can! Thanks in advance for your prayers! |

Went to the Dr. Friday and I am now 80% effaced and dilated 1.5. This little one wants to take her time! Tim has a pool going right now. He says the 18th. I think there are several who have a day picked at church! I don't care what day it is just some day soon! I have LOVED being pregnant but the fact that all the sudden I can start cramping uncontrollably or wet all over myself at any point makes me a little anxious! Two weeks from tomorrow is my due date so even if she wait until then it really isn't that long away! And the Dr. said he would induce on the 26th so then I wouldn't have to wait much longer after that! Hopefully she come sooner! What day do you think? |

Not much has been going on here. As you can see I am officially at 37 weeks of pregnancy. I went to the Dr. on Thursday and was 70% effaced and dilated fingertip to one. I was excited that I had at-least some progress however now I am ready for this baby to come. I have had some contractions but nothing to really get too excited about. Bags are packed, rooms ready, house is ready, and car-seat installed. I still have some time but it also could be any day so now we just wait!
On a much different note I just finished reading the Twilight Series. I haven't been that addicted to a book in a long time. I read them in a little bit over a week and really enjoyed reading it. I went to the library today and checked out some other books to read. This has been helping me pass my time. Any suggestions? I am running out of ideas on what to read! Well I guess that's it for now. Hopefully next time I post I will be posting pictures of our sweet baby girl! Feel free to check her blog for info as well!
