Well, those of you who know me and my brother know that sports are a big part of our lives. Since Jesse is 7 years younger than me, it would have been very easy for him to have been stuck in my shadow. He's not, though, as he is amazing in sports I didn't play.
He is an awesome pitcher, but hasn't been able to play this year because of shoulder surgery. It has been a tough year for all of us. (Chad was his coach--that's how we met, and I try to go to all his games, so we have been down about it too) I know it has been so hard on Jesse as he truly loves baseball...
All that to say, he was on the front page of the paper today cheering as his team advanced to the finals of the state playoffs!!! I am really proud of him because it would have been easy for him to have a negative attitude since he can't be as much a part as he would like, but he was there jumping and yelling.
So, now we are heading to the tournament. If you don't see an update by the end of the week, it is prob. safe to say we didn't win. Cross your fingers...

hope you are feeling better, hope the breathing is easier now that your mom is home. We sure enjoyed them being here in Texas(Bacliff) for our meeting.

Ok, so I forgot about Pleo. I would love to tell you some big exciting news on my first post back, but really life has simple in a wonderfully busy way. I got off track last year, when a few tough events piled on top of each other, but things have been much better here lately. Just had a birthday which is always great... my husband had enough and told his boss no more Sundays or no more work and the boss said no more Sundays...getting a vacation paid for by my boss and I don't even have to use vacation days...thinking about heading towards Texas...life is good!
yay for paid vacations! i went to texas last year for mine, it was a great time :) Nikki's husband has the only updates i know of. i know she's resting and worn out, and eager to see the baby.
wow Texas that sounds fun! i will send their schedules just as soon as i get them. i would love for you all to come and i know the kids would love it even more!!!!

yeah my job is awesome. everything else is going good with the possible exception of grad school. only 2 more weeks left until the end of the semester! and our anniversary is coming up too! i can't believe it's already been almost a year. i hope you guys are doing well!
I did not pay her enough for sure. She is now in Mexico. Got there late yesterday afternoon. She has an action packed week and is very excited about all of it. Birthday coming out. Hummmm never heard of that one, but sounds like it needs a party. :) See ya in a few.

No, not Christmas...less than a week till Halloween! I love that holiday! I am VERY excited about this year because I am having a Halloween party for all the high school kids at church and their friends. There are a lot of details I am so excited about, but I will have to fill you in on it after the fact. (I happen to know a few of them are on Pleo and you never know who's watching) :) If any of you have any ideas, do share! I hope the kids are hoarse the next day from all the screaming!

Well, I have cleaned out every closet in my house...I was determined to find the cord that came with my digital camera so I could post some pictures, but it seems to have disappeared. I am NOT giving up, my next task is the garage (ugh) I am looking forward to this month... Halloween is my favorite holiday, plus I am getting my quarterly bonus and a new monthly bonus, so life is good. I got some good news today from Chad. He has started training someone, so he will no longer have to work Sundays!!! For those of you who don't know, he took a job with Wal-Mart when the company he was working for announced they were closing. It was supposed to pay the same and be just as good, but it was nothing like they promised! His 7-3, Mon-Thurs job has become a Saturday and Sunday job too, and with only two semesters of school left, we aren't in the position for him to walk away. We have both been getting a litter dicouraged, but after enduring three months of this, things are looking up.
good news about your hubby's job! Good luck finding your cord. I lose mine constantly. in fact, it's lost right now :) i have three, but none of them work...
I can't wait to see what pics you have for me! That's great about your bonuses & Chad's job. Are you going to be able to come next summer when your parents come down? I know it would be hard for you & Chad, but y'all are welcome to stay with us anytime!

We went Friday to pick out the pictures at the photographers. Or so I thought...Three and a half hours later all I had was a list I still have to cut by two thirds! My photographer was SO good, she captured some great pictures, and was so patient with Mom and I as we just kept adding pictures to the list. She is doing good. No real changes yet in her symptoms. A lot of changes in our lifestyle though. I am going to be suzy homemaker now. :) Lots to learn, in time. I am very thankful that her diet is all that needs to be changed. :) Thanks for asking. Love you.
