We had dinner with my family Friday night. It was nice being together. I love my little nephew, but he LOVES Mark. It is so funny!
Mark had to work today :( , but the kids and I discovered the joy of indoor bounce centers. WOW!! Apparently the ONLY way to go. We have missed so many birthday party's for various reasons, so this was our first. I am impressed with the way the place operates. We will probably have both the kids parties there this next year.
We got our pictures back from JCP where we had them taken last weekend. They are very cute. I can't wait to mail all the cards out.
I got some Christmas shopping done today. :)

This week has been the week I have been dreading since I got my new position. LATIN ARFF WEEK! This time we have 20 guys from Spanish speaking countries in for a week long course. I pretty much made this out the be the WORST thing that could ever happen to me. I have mostly forgotten ALL the Spanish I used in high school. I don't speak it at all even to Mark who speaks it quite well and my boss who is Hispanic. We will start using it a lot more.
After just spending an hour with these guys, I can at least understand part of what they are saying and can communicate short phrases with them. They are very laid back and very sweet. We got everyone registered and paid with only 1 problem. My boss Adrian is amazing. I could listen to these guys talk all day and not care that I don't understand every word.
I am excited that they are here and already having to gear up for the next one in March. Hopefully it will be as good as this one.
We have guys from Oaxaca, Mexico City, Cancun, Cozumel, Vera Cruz, Buenos Aires, Tegucigalpa, Santiago. There are some other places but I can't remember them.
In March I will also have 11 Germans coming in for a class. That will be cool too.
i soooo wish i could call in sick friday. it always looks a bit suspicious though when you have your lesson plans laid out perfectly ahead of time and then your "sick"
This was not only Halloween but also NASCAR race weekend right down the road.
We won't be at services tomorrow morning but we will venture out for evening services and the plans that follow.
The kids had a blast trick-or -treating. Bethany throw a full on tantrum when he put the outfit on her, but by the end she really enjoyed it. She really got into going to the door with Andrew and screaming trick or treat and Happy Halloween.
