Sometimes I get caught up with everything that's going on in my life: classes, organizations, tests, group meetings, tutoring, community service, etc.
I find myself getting lost in the everyday grind and not noticing how much I am truly blessed.
The close friends I have made with the people here, especially at church, are such a blessing. The fact that I can remember things that I've studied for my tests (most of the time..lol) and the fact that I have been able to get everything done on time and still find a small amount of time to relax..is so wonderful.
I'm so thankful for the support group I have here. I know that if I'm struggling with something or just having a bad day, someone will be there..maybe more than one someone..to let me vent or give much-needed advice.

In basketball, there's something called a full-court press. It's intense defense over the entire court. Constant pressure is put on the ball in hopes that the defense can keep the other team from getting the ball down the court. The defense is trying to keep the ball on their goal's end of the court in hopes of an easy 2 points.
Paul wants us to press ourselves. We should apply constant pressure to keep us in the right direction. Every day we should strive to push the ball further and further towards our goal..Heaven. We don't want Satan/the world getting the ball on his end of the court.
In order to press, we have to be intense for God and His Word. We must daily live in such a way to pressure others (in love) to live righteously.
