I just want to wish everyone a good semester and also remind you of a few things before we begin. My dad has always told me something every time I’m going to be away for a while. He always tells me "don't forget who you are." With this in mind think of who you are. Are you a Christian? If you are then this year we must all do our best to stand up for the truth and not let anything sway us. We can not let ourselves get caught up in worldly pleasures. It is so easy for one to simply go with the crowd. As we begin this semester we must know who we are and not forget it. If we go along to just that one party or take just that one sip of alcohol or start to dress immodestly because its what all the other people are wearing or if we just don’t go to church because we’re tired or just simply don’t want to go we are ruining our relationship with God and we are ruining our influence with others. It doesn’t matter if you’re the “coolest” kid at A&M or not. What truly matters is what the Lord will say in the end. Whether he deems you a good and faithful servant or if he tells you depart from me you that work iniquity for I never knew you. So let us not forget as we start this term to stand firmly in the word and shine like a light on a hill so that all men may learn from our example. Once again I hope everyone has a good semester and that you remember who you are.
I have never appreciated being in College Station as much as i have these past two weeks. Getting to spend time with so many young christians is rewarding in so many ways. I have enjoyed spending time with the new students as well as the old. It still amazes me the love shown by all the brethren here to one another especially the new members. I'd also like to give a special thanks to him for helping me see things that i hadn't seen before. I hope everyone has a good semester.
I took two classes this summer to try and catch up and make sure i was on track and i was kinda worried about them but i passed. Can we say WHOOP! I'm finally upper level engineering.
So i passed all my classes thankfully. I got an A in physics, a B in Ethics in engineering and Theature arts, and a C in Calculus 3 and Statistics. I was really worried about the last two but i made it. I made it home with out any problems except my dad pushed his truck to hard pulling my sisters travel trailer so they had to take it to the shop when we got here. I hope everyone else passed all their classes and made it home safely and that i see you all at survivor or in August.
Awesome, I will need all the help I can get. I already started looking at the book and doing all of the review stuff in the back of the book and also the preview chapter at the front. It looks hard, but I am trying not to be intimidated by it.
I need help, can you help? for the most part its going ok so far, but he doesn't quite cover all of the material, so that is where I get stuck. Hope you are having a fabulous week!
I won't be at Survivor. :( I am going to be at a reuinion that weekend! I am looking forward to it, but sad that I am missing out on Survivor. Will you be there? I am taking bio and a math class. Yucky!
do nothing. Haha what were you expecting. Sorry i haven't posted in a while i just haven't either had the time or anything to write about. Right now things are going pretty well i finally got through my roughest week this semester which i am throughly excited about. I finished my book that i haven't had time to read and it was great. I miss being able to just read for fun. I finally have time to play my guitar again. And while im still not any good i enjoy being able to just play what i want even if my neighbors hate me now haha. I hope everyone else is doing well. Let me know how your lives are going.
