So today was my last first day of school (high school, that is)!!! I won't bore you with the details, but suffice it to say that it looks as though I will manage to survive the semester.
Speaking of which, I need to go and cover all of my textbooks :-P
So right now I am in the midst of packing for my trip to France. Yes, I said France. We (the French Club, that is) are leaving tomorrow morning to drive to Boston, and then fly to Paris!! We'll be there for a few days and will then make our way to Normandy, and then back to Paris, coming back next Saturday. I am SUPER EXCITED, to say the least ;)
In other news, softball season is going well and school is...well......school :-P
And now, I should really get back to packing.......
I haven't posted in two months. Whoops ;) Nothing is majorly exciting right now, actually. Life is SUPER busy. In fact, the only day I get to go home after school in Thursday, because I go to the barn Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and I have work on Tuesdays. Oh yeah, I work at a vet clinic now. Forgot to mention that. But anyhow, that's how I justify my lack of posting :-P. Homecoming football game was today and *gasp* we actually won! I guess we aren't as terrible as I thought. I also have a cold, which is fun. I actually don't feel too bad anymore, but my voice is still gone. Of course all the yelling at the pep rally on Thursday didn't help much. But I seem to be recovering, so hopefully I will sound like a normal person again soon.
Off to Alabama in the morning. We're supposed to be leaving at 5:25 (not 5:15, not 5:30, 5:25), so that means getting up at around 4, blundering around half-asleep for a bit, and then promptly going back to sleep in the car. According to Grandad, they're having a heat wave down there right now. Oh joy. The expected temperatures are as follows:
Monday: 97 Tuesday: 98 Wednesday: 99 Thursday: 98 Friday: 98
Sounds like fun, no? ugh.
I should probably go to bed now, or else I will not be able to get up in the morning :-P

Ugh ... i think i actually prefer driving to 'bama ... at least then dad didn't make us get up at 4! :) hope you have "fun" down there ... call me if/when you get bored ;)
