This new year is pretty exciting, for a few reasons...
-2008 wasn't the BEST year, sure I was definately blessed beyond belief in the past year, but I did go through a lot of new trials that brought me down. Don't get me wrong, I had so many amazing experiences in this past year that I wouldn't change for anything, but a few things that I wish I could take back.
-I'm no longer a teenager...yeah I'm not actually excited about this one, but hopefully my 20's will be good to me! :)
-I'm officially a student at Texas A&M!!! I can't wait for my first day!
-Tons of plans already in the makings of fun trips/trying out new things!
I'm just excited to see what the year will hold for me, hopefully it'll be a good one! Hope everyone had a great New Years!
*I'm DONE with the semester!! It seems like it went by sooo fast, but I must say I'm happy that one's over with!
*I made a 93 on my online Art History class...and I definately needed that A!
*I went to the Rockets/Hawks game last night with Stephanie Nite, Stephanie McCasland, and Stephanie Barker...yeah talk about confusing! It was such a blast though, definately a good "finished with finals" celebration!
*I only got 4 hours of sleep last night, but woke up to SNOW!!! So it didn't even matter! :)
*Going to hear George Bush speak for the A&M Graduates on Friday morning, then my sister Graduates Saturday!!
*Saturday me & Stephanie B are taking Jacob Redding for a few hours and are going to Chuck E Cheese! Then that night, going to see the #4 Ranked A&M Women's basketball team play!
*Hopefully building a gingerbread house & watching Elf, and ice skating, lots of hot chocolate, and many more fun things as well! :)
15 Days til X-mas, 17 til I'm 20!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE December! :)
Yeah, I had heard about this site from a few different people and I have been on here about a month and a half or two. I'm not real practiced at it yet and I just went down Natalie's list and clicked on names to see who people were.:-)
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was pretty good! Very relaxing, just hanging out with the fam a bunch! And shopping with my sis on Friday/watching a Christmas movie and getting out the Christmas decorations, and Christmas cookies! Yay! Then Emily & Jay's wedding yesterday was BEAUTIFUL!!
Now on to a week of studying & the start of finals! It's going to be busy thats for sure!
Just a little over a week and I'll be on Christmas break!! :) I can't wait, I love this holiday season. It's definately my favorite! Less than a month til X-mas & my Birthday, then a little over a month until my new student conference!!! :) What a way to start out 2009...I'm PUMPED! (about starting at A&M...not so much the conference haha) And I'll be 20...yikes.
I miss having time to sit & do nothing! Don't get me wrong, I do like being busy...but not to the point of going insane. Hopefully after Wednesday I will have a little time off though. My life has been crazy, especially the past 2 weeks, school is insane, and work takes up some time too, and I picked up a babysitting job on Mondays/some other days if needed. I love sleeping & have no lie, gotten about 3 hours of sleep the past few nights. I think I should change that.
Our flag football team tonight won again, which means next week we're going to the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!!!! :) ALL of y'all need to come!! I have so much fun playing with our team, all of the girls are really good, and we just like to have a lot of fun!
Well...I just wanted to post to take a break, but I have another test tomorrow, essay test I might add...with a prof that LOVES detail, so I'm out! Hopefully a new more exciting post soon!!
I remember being that busy. The last 4 years of my life especially, but for some reason, God has blessed me with tons of time to spend however I please. So, good luck getting to that time again and don't be too jealous of me.
