Well I keep looking at my blog before this one and keep saying "I'll update next time." Well this time it's actually happening. LOL Well in the last month I have had a haunted halloween party at my parents house and had a total blast while doing so. But most of all I have been working my rear off at work. About a week and a half ago I took some days off so that I could go see Kristi in Longview. I had so much fun. Just being able to get off for a few days from work. While I was there I had a good time just being able to spend time with K and the rest of the gang. Also while I was there K and I were able to go out to dinner and a movie for our b-days. I had talked to a couple of ladies from church there to help me put together a surprise belated birthday dinner for Kristi and help get some of the ladies together. She didn't know about it at all which ended up being really good. We went to Red Lobster and had a good time. Afterwards we wanted to see a movie and ended up seeing and enjoying The Secret Life of Bee's. REALLY good movie. We were also able to enjoy it in the theater by ourselves. There were absolutely NOONE else in the theater while we were there. We had a great time. I had a good time being able to help K around the house, spend time with the kids, and just be able to relax, talk, hang out, and enjoy time with friends.
Well it's almost thanksgiving which in and of itself is a good thing but I am SOO not looking forward to working the day after. UGH. I can't wait til thanksgiving. This is always the best time of the year and the one that I enjoy the most along with Christmas cuz that means spending time with family, eating some DELICIOUS food that I helped my mom cook, and as always start putting up the christmas decorations. Hopefully we wil be able to put up the Tree on thanksgiving day, that or wait til I am able to be in the process of putting up the tree, listening to christmas music, and just being able to spend some good ole' time with the family.
Well this should get me through the next few weeks, in which I will update more. Hope you guys have a GREAT and SPLENDID Thanksgiving and don't gain 10 pounds eating all that WONDERFUL food! Love you lots and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Well as you can read from the title this must be some crazy thing...Well actually it is. This year we are putting together yet another insane asylum. Some of you know that a couple of years ago we put one together. Well this year we decided to try it again and make it MORE scary and creepy. Well that has succeeded. For the most part it is the same as the last time with just a few exceptions. We have taken a few things out and in its place added a few other things. I really think that this will be a TRUE success...We have several people from different congregations in town helping out and even one of the drama people from the high school. I am TOTALLY excited. I have been taking QUITE a few pictures....the last time I didn't get any pictures of the progress that we did so this year I was DETERMINED to get pictures of the whole process....Those will follow in the next update hopefully in the next few days...depending on how much sleep i get in the next few days. Well if you just so happen to be in the area tomorrow from 5-9 pm and need something to do you are MORE than welcome to come and have all sorts of fun at the SUNNY OAKS SANITARIUM...Tours begin at sundown, and games will be played. Dress accordingly to enter into our costume contest. There will be several different catagories but only ONE overall winner.

Well I can actually say that this has been the best fall season so far. I have to say that this is the best season ever. It is the perfect weather. And I can actually say that by the time I am done with this that my birthday will be in 9 days. Yes to some of you I will be old. I will be turning 22. I don't know what I am going to do but I plan to have fun on my birthday!!! I will be going to school on my birthday but that is fine. I don't know how many people will believe this but the homework that I have is fun. It is for my medical terminology class and I LOVE that class...Other news: Nothing much is really going on in my life right now except for school and work. Some of us from church have been planning a haunted house for this year. We are going to do a haunted insane asylum. I am really looking foward to it. We have done it once before but I think that this year's will be a WHOLE lot better. If you get a chance and you are in town you should try and come!
Well this is already a lot so I will go. I have school in the morning and its my long day of school....blah...
aww...i can't! i have to work before and after the movie, and my manager said he had to deny my day off, but i could choose which shift...but y'all go see it so we can discuss!!!
So apparently I have been tagged by her which means I have to tell you 8 random facts about myself.
1. When I eat any meal that has more than one thing on a plate for example if I have a plate of carrots, peas, and some kind of meat; I have to eat my veges first and then eat whatever is left on my plate....same goes for fast food....have to eat the french fries first and then the hamburger.
2. If going on a trip whether its 5 minutes away or 5 hours away I usually am the one who tries to drive. If I don't I feel weird and its hard for me. If I do end up as a passenger then I try and sleep so it will take my mind off of me not being able to drive.
3. It wasn't until this year that I have decided that I enjoy school more than I used to.
4. When cleaning either my apartment or my room I get distracted very easily so to keep my mind from wondering I have to close my door to my room or be by myself so that I won't get distracted and then put music on and turn it up really loud.
5. I absolutely LOVE the tv show LOST...If I miss an episode I go crazy. I don't know how I am gonna wait until January for the next season to come on.
6. I LOVE crawfish etoufee, gumbo, crawfish pasta, and jamabalaya more than ANY other food on this planet.
7. I played little league softball for about 8 or 9 years growing up, basketball 1 year, and soccer 1 year.
8. I have never broken a bone or had any kind of surgery in my whole life. The only thing that comes close is spraining my ankle twice last year within 1 or 2 months of each other.

1. I have the BEST family in the world. I don't know what I would do with out my parents who have been there for me whenever I needed them most. I have learned so much from you and wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for all that you have done for me.
2. To my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins....y'all are the best I could ever ask for. Thanks for the love and care that y'all have given me in my life!
3. I am happy to be blest with the church family at Union Road. I have been with you guys for going on 10-11 years now and it is AMAZING to see how much we have grown in those 10-11 years.
4. I have the greatest friends that I could ever wish for. You have been such a blessing and helped me through the last year or more.
5. My girls y'all are the greatest thing that I could ever wish for. You know who you are. Ya'll are like sisters to me and have helped me through some rough times the last year. Especially y'all older ones. Not to say y'all are old or anything just that I have learned so much from y'all and y'all are my support group.
6. I am greatful to have my roommates. Ya'll are the best roommates that I could ask for.
7. I am greatful to have the job that I have. JC Penney's even tho its been a little rough has always worked around my schedule and even let me have a few vacation days when I requested off.
8. My final blessing....El Chico's.....if it weren't for you then when Danette came into town we wouldn't have gotten together with Corey, Kim, and Kristi....You are the best.....:D

I agree, I wish my b-day was in the fall :) I am not sure when we are coming, or if we are coming, it all has to do with his time off and having the money...blah :P
Well I know that it has been a while since I updated so I thought I would update. Some of you may know if you read her blog that my dad was to have surgery...Well that was this morning..I know I am a bad person for not putting it up but I just have been busy. Well he had to be there at 6 this morning and he went into surgery around 7:30 I got there around 8 cuz mom said there was no need for me to get there at 6 with them...so I got an extra hour of sleep. But Surgery went fine. As many of you know my dad has had foot problems for the past 2 years give or take a few months but this surgery hopefully helps. He has had many injections and as many of you know my mom is a physical therapist so she has tried helping him. Well none of that helped and so the last thing was to have surgery which is what ended up needing to happen so hopefully this will make everything better...When the dr. came out and told us that the procedure went well he said that my dad kicked everytime he touched his foot...Well my dad is very ticklish....lol....I didn't get to meet the dr. until he came out and told us about the surgery but he seemed really nice. I will let all of you know how it turns out and if this helped as much as we hope! Thank you all for your prayers for my dad...He has had a LOT of pain so I hope that this cured everything!!!
Prayers can work wonders and I can honestly say that they work. But please don't stop...my dad still has to get through the pain of the post surgery part so please continue to keep him in your prayers.
