It makes me happy! :-)
Some people don't quite understand how we can spend Thanksgiving in tents, on the ground, in the cold, having to hike a mile to the bathrooms, showering with tons of daddy long legs just waiting to pounce, freezing, sometimes rain and always getting smoke in my eyes.
And I guess when you put it THAT way it doesn't sound like much fun.
I choose to remember a potluck Thanksgiving feast, fellowshipping with brothers and sisters in the Lord, the fog on the lake before the sun burns it off, hiking, playing sports, eating some more, our singing praises to the Lord around the campfire, actually being able to see stars at night, huddling in a warm sleeping bag, being with my family and my "thanksgiving family" and hiking a mile to the bathroom. (can't help but remember that one...no choice about it) :-)
I'm thankful for this experience every year.
Work is going to DRAG today because I'm so excited about getting to Double Lake.
This is better than Christmas!
No, seriously!
For Chelsea... 45 days!
