I want to announce that my older Sister Lynlie Jones has come forward after over 17 years of being absent from attending services and has recommitted to her walk with God. She attends the Evadale COC. If you get to visit there then give her a big hug from me. Mark Adams preaches there at this time and he is wonderful.

This month is my BIRTHDAY. I will be the big 4 0 which is the new 3 0. The weather is cooling down and today I have the windows open and the breeze is floating in. It is so nice. I am cleaning house, making tea, doing laundry, ironing, making a poodle skirt for Jessica, and typing on the computer this blog.
Hope you all had a nice October, but it must move over for November. Thanksgiving is coming and I plan to eat pumpkin pie which is my fav. Although, I did have a piece of Jean Paulsel's midnight madness pie and boy am I loving that pie. I hope she will send me the recipe.
This month Sarah flys to FC with Maegan Bradford. We take a Girl Scout trip to Marble Falls where we get to hang on the high ropes course. We are invited to have turkey with the Bradford family and I just can't wait.
It is all to exciting, but I love looking forward to new adventures and such. Take care to you all and enjoy the month with family and friends.

I'm so glad for your sister. Is she the one I met at Tom and Shirley Short's place around 1997 or so? You cannot be 40 because it was just a short time ago you were celebrating 35!
We went to Lake Charles for the meeting Monday night. I saw Kay and Mike M (previously from Evadale) and told her about your sister! We had lunch on my birthday at Roberts in Orange ... mmm, good! They called Monday (H.S), yesterday (M.S.), and today (H.S.) for me to sub, but I turned them down. I just accepted Spanish 2 for tomorrow (before I realized it will be Halloween ... yuck!) Oh, well. They are watching a video!

Time just flies. Sarah is driving as you all know. They both are doing well as far as grades an such. We had much company the last few weekends. My sister came with her family to get away from Hannah. Then we had my brother in-law for the evening on weekend. That was electronic madness. I sure miss the simpler times when sitting and talking was the entertainment of the evening, just being together. The next weekend the Locklair's stayed with us to get away from IKE. That is when I think my family should have come also, but they weathered the storm. My brother's home got some water in it. His yard was a pond. My sister and Mom and Dad just got power back on around Sep. 20th. Thank you for your prayers on their behalf.
We plan to see the Paulsel family in October. Kahley if you read this let me know what you wish for your birthday.
I am a Girl Scout Leader and we meet every other Friday late afternoon. Kahley was in our troop and just fell in happy friendship with one of the girls and so I am taking her with me to Weatherford to see Kahley. It will not be a GS event just a fun thing, but we will be helping with Roger's companies Chili fundraiser. We have to get those leadership hours in don't you know.

Yeah our house is ok we didn't get much damage. We just had a tree on the roof, but it didn't go through or anything. We got lights maybe the second or third day we were back. I love u and hope to see u soon.

I went to Burnet this weekend for a Girl Scout Training. I spent time with my dearest friend and her family. Saturday evening we went Jet Skiing on Lake Buchanan. Jessica my youngest was with me. We rode with Kathy. It was very fun and my first time ever. We went to worship together on Sunday and then I drove down to South Austin for their Gospel meeting with Chip Foster. He works with the congregation in Granberry, Texas. He did an great job. Luis Zamora preaches for South Austin and does a wonderful work there as well. If you have a chance to invite either one of these fine men to preach your Gospel meeting you will not regret it. It was just a wonderful weekend with fellow Christians.
Speaking of wonderful weekends. The Kleinwood Singing begins on the 1st of August. Who is going? Let me know.

Well it is almost summer. We will be supporting Sarah at her paying summer job at the Library. She will be paying for her gas to get there and back.
My Dad is still fighting cancer. He will be doing some radiation treatments this entire month of June. Keep him in your prayers and please pray that his heart will be ready to receive the word of God for salvation.
We are all looking forward to sleeping in, outdoor fun, seeing friends, and family and just relaxing and being together.
My niece and nephew are coming in July for a fun week. We will be going to Fiesta Texas. I have a few other things planned, but that is the big one.
I have been working with an environmentally aware company in the USA which manufactures everyday products from shampoo to cleaning supplies. This company is awesome and since the gas is going up, it is just fun to order my everyday needs online and have them delivered to the door. My Dad is still battling Leukemia. He is very hopeful though. He bought a new truck recently.
We just returned from Pampa, Texas. It is a nine hour drive from where I live. We saw great weather there, but I was sick the night we arrived and had to visit the local doctor. I am still recovering. My asthma just got the best of me. This year has just started out with sickness and many funerals, but such is life and oh how wonderful Heaven will be for those who love the Lord. Everything is going to get better. I just know it.
Hey Aunt Mollye, I won't be coming that week in July. I'm going to my dads and we are going on vacation. I forgot to tell you about that, but it has been planned since last year. This must have sliped my mind. Can you maybe do it the last two days in June into July. Well I love you and hope that you read this. Maybe you and my mom can talk about it.
