I am so excited. I just got $76.81 worth of groceries for only $2.34. It is such a wonderful feeling to go to the grocery store and walk out with free stuff. It takes some work cutting coupons going through the ads and planning your trip. But it is well worth it when it only cost $2.34.
Today is my nephew Eli's first birthday. I can't believe he is 1 already. Tonight we are having a family birthday party. I can't wait to see him with cake all over his face. Courtney will probably put up pictures in the next few days.
Wow I can't believe Eli is one already either! I've started clipping coupons alot more and learning the CVS deals and it is amazing how much money you can save! Your trip sounds awesome though.
I love it! SO glad you get as excited as me when I get the good deals. That is AWESOME, Ashley! Keep up the good work. Husbands, bank accounts and tummies thank you. :)
You are an incredible shopper. I was preparing my Christmas baking list per Jeff's request earlier this afternoon. You up for a day of buckeye making again? I had fun holiday cooking with you last year. Maybe we could make a full day of it and cook all sorts of other unhealthy, scrumptious goodies!
ashley pope metcalf....ho-ly cow! this is amber! where in the world have you been?! it is so good to read up on what you have been up to!! i miss you!!
Hey Ashley. I haven't checked pleo on a while. I have totally gotten into the coupon thing lately. CVS is my favorite. Thanksgiving morning, I got about $150 worth of stuff for less than $2. moneysavingmom.com is a good resource for couponing.
I absolutely love fall. Every year I look forward to it. I love the cooler weather. I love the smells. I love all things pumpkin. I love eating and spending time with family at Thanksgiving. I love sitting on my back porch wrapped in a blanket drinking hot chocolate. So pretty much everything. The thing I miss the most about living in Asheville, NC is seeing all of the beautiful leaves changing colors up in the mountains. We don't get to see much of that in the Houston area. Hope everyone is enjoying the season. And it is just beginning.
Now that I live somewhere with seasons, I've discovered that I REALLY like fall. I think Spring is probably my favorite season, but Fall is a close second. :) The only problem with fall is that it leads to winter!!!
I did not know you lived in Asheville! I LOVE that place! My Mom and I went to the Biltmore and I did four different tours - and then decided I wished I could work there!
Thank you SOOOOOO much for housing my little brother and sister in law! They really enjoyed their stay, as short as it was! Wish we could have come too! Love you!
Hi everyone. This is Ashley (Pope) Metcalf. I have seen how pleonast can be a good way to catch up with old friends. I miss lots of you and would love to hear how you are doing.
Me first. I am married to Josh Metcalf. We just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary in July. We moved to the Houston, TX area 2 and 1/2 years ago. In April we bought our first house in Tomball, TX (NW Houston). All of my family (except my youngest sister Brianne) lives in the area. I get to see my adorable nephew Eli on a regular basis. He is almost 1.
My parents live in Humble and attend church there as well ... how close is that to you? We take 75 south all the way to Houston to the Beltway to get to their house. Maybe we could meet for lunch/dinner next time we drive down.
