I know some of you may be thinking...I thought the baby wasn't due for a few more months! Well, you're right. I'm referring to my lack of posing lately. We have been mondo-busy and I guess I am guilty of being a blog lurker over the past few months. My apologies. Apparently, I have a public which has been neglected as of late.
So, we found out pretty early on we're having a little BOY! Many of you are pretty clever and figured that out by the blue ticker. Good job. He's already got some built-in friends, which is very exciting. Don't have a name picked out yet, but we've still got time, right? Mom and baby are healthy...and we've got a pretty proud daddy, too.
My main excuse for being so quiet is because we've been traveling and hosting visitors consistently over the last few months. In chronological order, here's what we've been doing...
- Dublin, Ireland
- Amsterdam, The Netherlands
- Prague, Czech Republic
- Paris/Normandy, France
- Athens, Greece
- Henderson parental units visit
- Wimbledon
- Tsai Meu Chong visit
- Leavitt parental unit visit
- Stonehenge/Lake District, England
- Norton visit
We've had so many once-in-a-lifetime experiences! It's been fun, exciting, and tiring. If anything, I've been distracted from any pregnancy discomforts. This baby is definitely well-traveled!
Just one more week of work here and then we're off for a 2-week whirlwind tour of Europe. We can not wait! Start in Barcelona, on to Nice/Marseilles/Monaco, then Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, and end in Germany. That's just a rough estimate...we're pretty much going to wing it. Adventure, here we come!
Then we fly back to the UK and on out to the States. YAY HOME! We miss everyone and everything a lot...we're ready for this next stage of our lives. Prayers for our travels and wisdom in raising this child would be greatly appreciated.
I'll let you get back to whatever you're doing. Maybe if I actually updated more my posts wouldn't have to be so long! Silly me.
