I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Christmas morning we had a great time watching the girls open their presents and then had a big breakfast. Chloe had had the stomach flu earlier in the week but seemed to be fine. By Christmas evening I was sick, Brian (our son) got sick in the night, and by morning Brooke and Richard were also sick. This is a nasty bug. It doesn't last 12 hours - it seems to last days - at least with adults. I think Chloe was only sick for one day. It is now Sunday and we all, with the exception of Brian, are still sick. He seemed to have the flu for one day like Chloe did. I missed my niece's wedding on Friday and don't know about either service today.
Hope you had a great Christmas and Happy New Year!
Happy New Year 2 u 2! I am glad that you are feeling better!! :-) New YEars Was fun!! I just wish it would have lasted longer! We should have switched the movie watching and did more Air Hockey. My mom passed out at church yesterday morning right after the closing prayer. She then passed out two more times and we called 911. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance and passed out in the ambulance. A doctor asked her to sit up on the side of the bed and her blood pressure went to 195 over 97. She crumpled and passed out again. They have been running tests all day today on her heart. They are also calling in a neurologist to examine her. Please pray that whatever is going on is not serious. Thanks!!
I don't know so much about a neurologist. Maybe...but I think that a cardiologist should check her out really well first. And someone besides the one she sees...someone good.
Hey Mimi, A nephew of ours, his new brother in law was just traded to the colts from the titans. His name is Jamie Petrowski..TE. but I still won't route for them..HAHA!!!
Jason told me about your offer to him while we are there. He also said he didn't think it was extended to me!???!! Can you imagine, he was smiling while he said it.
I am pretty sure I will be tagging along.
I can't wait until next Thursday. Next Thursday a friend is taking me to the musical, The Lion King, in downtown Indianapolis for my birthday. It looks awesome on the commercials!! Have any of you seen it?

This past Friday morning we met my brother and his wife at a Bed & Breakfast in Kentucky. It is called the Victorian House Bed & Breakfast. It was absolutely beautiful. The theme for the house is Gone With the Wind. The bedrooms are named after the characters in the movie. We had Scarlet's room and my brother and his wife had Melanie's room. Every room in the house and the grounds were beautiful. I have always loved the Victorian style. The couple that live there were so nice and showed us their living area on the third floor - it is awesome. Across the street there is a block of antiqe shops, which we browsed through. At breakfast on Saturday morning, the host asked us to introduce ourselves to the other couple who was staying there. We went around the table and the man said that they live in St. Charles, Illinois. I said I know someone who lives there - I went to Florida College with him. When I told him who it was - he said he is one of my good friends. I asked him if they attend the church of Christ and he said he is a preacher at the church of Christ. WHAT A SMALL WORLD. He asked if I knew James Hahn - I said he is the preacher where we attend. He said he was a very close friend of James and had come to Kentucky to attend his meeting starting on Sunday. WHAT A SMALL WORLD!!!! We had a great conversation with them and a wonderful breakfast. If you haven't ever stayed in a bed & breakfast, try it - it was a great weekend!!
I love bed and breakfasts! There is a great one in Nashville, In that is out in the woods...it is so pretty! I'll have to find the pictures and show you. We went there when it was snowing and it was beautiful. We got stuck in their driveway, too!
I love bed and breakfasts as well. I would love that one, Gone with the Wind is my all time favorite movie. How cool that you met someone that knew Mr. Hahn.
I love staying at B&B's. What a small world we live in. Will you be at LC in the evening? I am going home for the weekend (to rake leaves) and won't be back in Col til evening services?
It's okay. I figured that you wouldn't be there, because Allen said Richard hadn't been feeling well. I hope he gets to feeling better soon. You did miss a really good haunted house though! Maybe next year.
Had fun with the girls last night. Jaydn scrapped again, she is so precious. Chloe worked on her birthday from last year-she has a great eye for matching her page colors with her pictures. Hope we get to met soon!
We did have lots of fun. The girls were so much fun. Jadyn cracks me up. She surprised me how quickly she warmed up to me. Last time it took her a little while. We played on the trampoline and I was wearing shorts. I fell and scratched my knee and I said "OW! I hurt my knee!" Jadyn came over and said "Don't worry I mooch it" and then she kissed my boo-boo! :) Chloe sang everything while I was there. I told her it sounds like she lives in a musical. We tried to convince her it was Saturday, since she didn't have school, and that I had been there all week, that she just slept through it. We almost got her. She was like, "Mommy, it is Tuesday, right?" HAHA Emma's a doll baby. I can't believe how ticklish she is!
hi, so sorry I didn't get you called back. My appt and ultrasound went fine. I was 32 weeks at the appt and measuring 33 weeks. She said the baby weighs 4 lbs 15 oz. I told Allen I don't think the baby will wait til Christmas. I have a hunch we will see him well before then. I am soooo excited too! I can't wait to meet him.
Well I am a day late getting these pictures out according to some. Sorry about that. Here are a few pictures from this past weekend in Ohio. As you can see, never a dull moment.
You got me, you came through with the pictures, time limit ws close enough. Tell Rich it's time for him to visit also. we enjoyed visiting with you Sun!!!

Hey --I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Leslie and we just moved to Columbus. You have a great daughter. I wish we could have met last week. Shelly and I were scrapbooking this afternoon. She has been so kind to me during this move. Your grandbabies are beauties.
Jadyn made her first scrapbook page Saturday. Whenever I am scrapping, whatever pictures I come across that I don't need, I put them in a box and that is the pictures the girls can pick from for their scrapbooks. Anyway, Jadyn was going through the "extra's" box of pictures and the next thing I knew Jadyn had glued them on a piece of paper and put stickers on it. When I realized what she had done she was asking me how to spell Chloe. It was cute. She must really watch my and Chloe's every move to know to pick out paper, pictures and stickers and then to know to label the pictures. ;)
That's what happened! You went to bed and they lost their mojo. Ha-ha! No, the defense lost it after half-time. They just weren't on them like they should have been. It was so depressing, because they were doing so well the first half. And every excellent throw Peyton had the Titans defense was right there to mess them up. :(
What happened to our Colts was we had too many calls on us and a semi-face mask and unnessary roughness that wasn't called on them. It was still a good game despite their stupidity.
