Don't tell Nate. This is the last weekend of deer hunting season down in BG -- as of this morning, he still hadn't even seen anything, but he was going back out this afternoon.
Benny just tried to go through out patio window. Why? Three deer on his property. No bucks, but we had one last winter. That was a sight to see on our hill in the back.
we are headed up there toooo... we have OHIO stuff to wear when we go and watch the game.... we are going to IKEA and then to Aunt Mary's and Uncle Darrel's.
i normally buy presents, but i really want to make some this year, I just don't know what to make :) i can crochet, so i'll probably make a couple of scarves, but other than that... i'm lost.
My husband doesn't have to go into the hospital. He is to take the sulfa-based meds for 14 days, go back (he'll go back before if it worsens) and see if he needs another round.
Thank you, Lord, for listening to our fervent prayers :) We are blessed!
I LOVE having them with me. Justin has been wanting to go to Jake's to eat FOREVER. He used to go there with a group after services when they lived in Ashland. So I think we will go to Ashland in the morning (and the boys can go to class there with their friends) and then go to N. Ridgeville in the evening if we are able to go. (granny issue)
That would be great. If it is out of your way I would be GLAD to pick it up. I never meant for you to go to any trouble for it. I really appreciate it and I KNOW Justin will Love it!
Well what I haven't told you about our new journey is that my husband has been battling a sinus infection. Yuck! On top of that, he thought he was bitten by spider on Nov 1 or 2. He showed me around the 5th. On my birthday I begged him to let me take him to the doctor. Nope-stubborn man!
Anyway, I finally was able to talk him into this past Monday. Doc says he waited too long (duh!) to come in. Horrendous sight on my husband's arm. So we went to the doc on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Monday they did a little impromtu surgery-what a horrible thing! By Wednesday the "wound" was looking better, but still awful. Doc said last night that the culture they took had yet to be identified, but that they did know it had resisted 20 antibiotics.
Doc calls today...it's MRSA staph. Great.
Please pray for my poor husband. He has been in awful shape for over a week now, but the wonderful man just keeps pluggin' along. There are a TON more details to this story, but I am seriously just too tired to type them. If you want more details and you have my cell #, feel free to call. But don't be surprised if I slur my words ;)
This is wild. My uncle has had several staph infections recently....they can be really stubborn and hard to get rid of, I hear. I will say a special prayer for you guys. Hugs to you all!
i am with marie... I love 'em though... and I would have to say they wouldn't be quite the same if they weren't so stubborn. Randy hates going to the doc too... I think it is because he has picked up on so many little trick working in the medical field.
