Since the new school year started we had some changes in our house.
We,
~ got a new puppy named Kipper. He also is a seeing eye puppy. He is not housebroken yet but we are getting there. He's the third puppy we have had. He is really cute and is only 3 months old!
~ got only enough snow to tease us.
~ have done A LOT of schoolwork (or at least I think it is a lot)
~ And We have had a lot of other stuff go on like a gospel meeting, a trip, and lots more!
Have A Good Winter, Get Lots Of Snow (more than we got)
And Merry Christmas (to those who celebrate it)
Last Puppy meeting they handed this out. So I thought I would share it with you. It's called Things To Learn From A Dog.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride (teenagers excepted).
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
When it’s in your best interest, practice obedience.
Let others know when they’ve invaded your territory.
Take naps and stretch before rising.
Run, romp and play daily.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Be loyal
Never pretend to be something you’re not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
When you’re happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
No matter how often you’re scolded, don’t buy into the guilt thing and pout …run right back and make friends.
Bond with your pack.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
I am doing very well. I really like this list. I must tell you, though, that when I am happy, I have been known to dance and around and wag my entire body, but my loved ones look at me strangely when I do it. :-)
good thanks! How are you? Want to come to a teen Bible study? It's on Apr 5 starting at 10 AM. Joe Works will teach us the whole book of 2 Peter. Let me know if you and your family are interested!
Sylvia Gougar: Hi Arlene, how are you doing?
can yo give Brittany your email address so i can email you? Thanks, maybe sometime my dad will give me a blog so that i can talk to you.
Bye bye!
I have bad news. We are not going to be at the Homeschool camp, we have decided to go to Wisconsin for a long time, but hopefully we can get to go ext year.
I found this in a Country Issue April/May 2004. It was in the part called Overheard at the Country Cafe. It is called Reaping Rewards. We all thought that it was funny so I decided to put it on pleo.
Three boys were talking as they walked to school. The first boy said, “My dad wrote a poem that was published, and he got $50 for it.” The second boy boasted, “My dad wrote a story and got $100 for it.” The third boy responded, “That’s nothing. My dad writes a sermon every Sunday, and it takes four men to collect all the money.”
Maybe Sylvia can get a blog some time soon. She really wants one and I know she'd love to say hi to you more often. Do you two write letters to each other? You should try it. =)
My sister and I changed around a couple of words in the song The Twelve of Christmas so that it would be a puppy version and this is what we came up with:

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me:

4 Fluffy Beds
5 Delicious Treats
6 Smoochy Kisses
7 Bouncy Balls
8 Long Walks
9 Fluffy Squeakers
10 Long Car Rides
11 Nylon Bones
12 Bags of Dog Food
Recently, we have been very busy with things like Church, School, and Puppy Club. Yesterday we got Maurice a seven month old German Shepard to puppy-sit for a week. Spencer (our dog) and Maurice like to play together. Last night was puppy club we had a Puppy Pollyanna, and we played some games. All the puppies got to see Santa Clause and get their picture taken with him. They all got a present from Santa too.
