I have spent this lovely Thanksgiving holiday with a horrible cough - not feeling well. Boo! This has me debating whether to go ahead and get a flu shot. Being prone to pneumonia, I am supposed to get one every year, but I don't always get around to it.
I haven't gotten mine yet. But I say GET IT! All 8 years I worked for OhioHealth I got the flu shot and never got sick other then a minor cold. I too am prone to pneumonia, when I get it it puts me down for several weeks. The first year I wasn't working to stay home after Ri was born, got the flu. I say get the shot :o)
I pretty much always get them. They make me a lil' feverish for a week, but aftre that I just don't really seem to get sick. I hope you get feeling better. Let me know if you need any help with the websight.
Please say a prayer for Donna Poyet. Many of you know her - she is a member of the Laurel Canyon congregation and one of the dearest people in my life. Donna had back surgery Friday, but is having a bad reaction of some sort. Things appear to be pretty stable now, but she will be in the hospital longer than they thought.

**UPDATE (11/20) - Donna is doing much better. She went to rehabilitation today. So glad that she's out of the hospital and on the mend! Thanks for your prayers!
So good to hear that she is improving! Thanks for the news. She told me at Laurel Canyon's meeting about her upcoming surgery. Hope her rehab goes well!
