I'm not sure how it is in your neck of the woods today, but down here in Ga it's kind of cool today. Perfect weather for getting out and taking a hike. Or better yet, for getting out there and encouraging someone else to take a hike. However you choose to celebrate this day, make it a good one.
How well do you know your bible? If you're like me, not as well as you should. Let's play a little game and see just how well versed you are. The object is very simple, find a verse that has the object in it (there will usually be several verses to choose from) and then post your verses. As everyone will not check out this post at the same time, this is not a first post wins sort of game, but rather an excersise in searching the scriptures. Good luck and try to find as many as you can without a concordance.
A piece of jewelry
A blacksmith
Some milk
A Song (Cannot use the Psalms)
An athlete
An eagle
A riddle
The land of Nob
A musical instrument
A fable (not a parable)
Bonus points will be given for verses that contain more than one item.
I've found in this area top-tier gas (the elite group that adds far more detergents to gasoline than the minimal EPA requirements - Shell, Chevron, Philips 66, Conoco) is typically cheaper or the same price as the no-name stations. As for the card, you don't have to charge it to a credit card. Buy one of their gas cards at the register. Then, go out to the pump and swipe it, and pump the gas. That's it. Saves you some money, and you get better quality gas (i.e., with better cleaners to keep the fuel system clean. As for Citgo, I'm not going there. That's Chavez's gas. He's a dictator that supports terrorism and bashes the U.S. I simply refuse to buy his gas unless it's an emergency situation.
