Cody is in the class just older than mine, but we will be glad to have him and see you and his dad.

Aw..I think you otta give the North a chance. There are a lot of women from the south up here. Including me. I still have my southern values but I have a lot of good friends here. Good pics of Cody. To let everyone know I love my new job and my first day was great!!!! Cody had a good day to at daycare did not even cry when I left him. Everyone have a great week ok.

Well I have some good news I am going to be working soon out side of the home. Yes I finally get to work in Ohio. I just know that God would come through for me and John we just needed to have faith. I had the interview on the 25th of June and today I decided to call back and see if the job had been filled well turns out she offered it to me. Wow I was so happy I just had to call John and tell him the great news. Well I should start training for the job some time next week so guess what I have to do now? I got to find someone to watch Cody no big deal I know I will find someone to watch him untill he starts school. Please pray that things will go well for me and that I will really like working again and helping people feel better about getting their blood drawn. I will be working at a doctors office in Sheffield. I am glad I could share this happy news with everyone. Always know that God is looking out for his children and he will come through it just takes time and patience that is very hard to do but it is very true. Who knows I may be bless soon with another child. I sure hope so. Well I will keep everyone posted to when I start and if anyone knows of a good daycare in sheffield let me know ok. I really really hate getting my blood drawn when I have to. I actually pass out 50% of the time, I hate it so much. I will have to come to you because if you make me hurt or pass out, I know where to find you! LOL...JK- so happy you got the job. What kind of hours will you be working?
You're welcome. The VBS starts on Wednesday evening, July 23rd. That's just two weeks from last night. It will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, and Saturday morning at 10, and Sunday morning at our usual 9:30. I will be teaching the youngest group, and Katie would be teaching Cody's age. It would be great to have you.
We had a good time with you guys too we will have to do something again soon. Are your parents coming this week I could remember? When do you start your job?
John's parents are coming up the weekend of the 24th through the 27th. I start my job on Monday. We found COdy a daycare that is right across from my work!!
Well I do not know if everyone knows but I have a good friend back home who had a niece who has been missing since June 25 of this year and she was only 12yrs old. They found her body yesterday near her uncle's house. Her uncle is now in jail for seveal bad things he has done. I just wanted to let everyone know that her family is hurting and needs lots of prayer that their heart will be healed with time. The girls name was Brooke Bennett. She left behind a farther and mother and two brothers. Her brothers are 9ys old and 9months old. Please pass this on and pray for the Bennett family. She is with God now and I am thankfull they found her but I was hoping that they would find her alive. Just keep the whole family in your prayers ok. Thanks so much. The parents are really crushed by what has happend but are releaved that their baby was found. God be with the family please. She was on the Today show and CNN I think. She was the first Amber Alart in Vermont. I can not even think of how much pain the family is in. My friend in Ga says thanks to everyone who has been praying for the whole family. Keep the prayers coming thanks.
That story is all over the news!! Is her mom a Christian?? Its a terrible story. I guess the only good thing is that that poor little Brooke is resting save in the bosom of Abraham now.
I don't think her mom is a christian. I know my friend is, Brooke's Aunt. She was on her way from south GA to Vermont to be with her family yesterday. I have not heard if she made it in okay or not. Please keep them in your prayers.
I wanted to let you know if you guys are going to come camping for the weekend I need to let the campsite know by wednesdya afternoon. So please let me know by then. Also for food prep I need to know early too. JUst let me know what you guys think.
Well yesterday I finally got a call that I have been waiting for a long time. I got a call to go in today for a interview at 1:30p.m. I ask that everyone pray for me that the interview goes good for me and that maybe I will have a chance to get the job. I miss working in the medical field and helping people feel good about having their blood drawn. I am a phlebotomist and have been a stay at home mom for a while and I am ready to start back to work to help out in any way that I can. I know staying at home is the best thing for a mom but in todays world it is hard to just have one income. I hope that everything goes well and I will get the job. I have enjoyed my time at home with Cody but I feel he needs to be around other kids his age and learn to make friends here. The interview is with Labcorp and it is not to far from where I live so I will not have to drive very far away and I will only work 9-5p.m. mon-friday and one sat a month so the hrs are not bad and I get to still go to church and not have to miss church. Well what ever happens I will be happy with but I do hope that the inteview goes well and I get to work out side of the home again. But do not get me wrong I love being able to stay at home with Cody but sometimes we have to help out when the help is needed. Pray that God will help me and my family out. Well I think the interveiw went well. I should know something by next week. They really like me and I think I aswered all the questions right. The job pays good so pray it goes through for me. I really want to work again. If I get the job it is not far from my house and not far from the school Cody will go to in Aug. I am thankfull for the interview but I do hope God will bless me with this job. Keep me in your prayers.
I only work 16-20 hrs a week, and I work 2 evenings and then the weekends. They are with Rob. I work when he is home- he works M-F 7a-4p and is always home by 5, so I work the 6p-10p shift at work for 2 weeknights, then work like 8a-2p on Saturdays and a few hours on Sundays, either in the morning or in the early evening. I'm fortunate I don't need to work more and that our schedules work such that we don't need a sitter, you know?
Thinking and praying for you. I think you are making a good choice on the job and you are right it is very hard to find a job and support a family on one income. See you on sunday!!

I heard from my Dad tonight that my granny is not doing good. She had a kidney infection that the doctors did not know about. The infection spread to her brain. There is now a clot in the middle portion of her brain preventing the doctors from doing surgery.
The nurses found her this morning when they went into her room to give her breakfast. They saw the left side of her face drooping and called the doctor in.
The family and I are asking for prayers for God's will to be done. It is very disappointing in that she has done so well and come so far only to have this happen. I pray the best for her.
Mom told me last night that the infection did not show up in the bloodstream which is very good news. Granny was put in a reg room so I guess that is good but she is still not able to talk which is hard on my mom because she was talking when I was there last month.Like I said she has come so far and was doing well and then had a set back so I pray that she will find the strengh to get better again. Please continue to pray for her thanks a lot and I will keep everyone up to date on how she is.
Update on my grandmother she is going home today but is still not doing very well. We still need all the prayers we can get. She had a another stroke since I left from ga and now is using a feeding tube and not able to talk again. I pray she will regain her health again soon. She has not had any sezers and good vinal signs so I think she will pull through again because I have faith. Keep the prayers coming thanks.
