Elizabeth Marie was born Nov. 24 at 8:43 am. She weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and was 21 inches long. We came home Tuesday afternoon. Here are a couple of pictures of her.
Proud big brothers
We are all feeling much better now! It is so nice to feel good again. It feels like all I am doing now is waiting for this little girl to get here. Christopher is excited about having a new baby but Carter is not so much. I asked him if he wanted us to have a new baby come home and he said "NO!". I went to the doctor yesterday and I am not dilated at all. So we are just waiting patiently.
I found the camera! Here are some pictures from the fall.
Okay so I thought that we were on the mend but then I got sick again and so did Cory. I was sick from Wednesday through Friday with a migraine that turned into a fever, aches, and chills. Cory got the 24 hour bug that the rest of us had last week. As long as the boys don't get sick again we are past it (I hope). I am ready to feel good again and to get the house back in order. Janelle came down to help with the boys and help me take them trick-or-treating last night. They had so much fun. Carter got worn out pretty fast so I ended up taking him home and Janelle kept Christopher until he got tired.
Some ladies from church threw a surprise baby shower for me today. I was not expecting it at all. It was so sweet of them. We got a lot of great girl stuff. I am so excited that we are having a girl! Only 4 more weeks til my due date!
Our family has been sick last week and this week. It is some 24 hour bug that has been going around here. Christopher had it last week and was sick for a day then better. Carter was sick Sunday all day, and then he was better too. I had it yesterday (Monday) and feel great today. Cory is just waiting to get it. Hopefully he doesn't because it is miserable even though it only lasts 24 hours. Anyway...
I had forgotten how hard it is to put socks on anymore. With Carter all I ever wore was flip flops since he was born in the summer, but with Christopher I guess I had to wear socks since he was born in December. I still can't remember struggling to put my socks on. Isn't it funny the things you remember and the things you forget about being pregnant. I am hoping this litte girl comes a little earlier than her brothers did, because it is even getting hard for me to clean up the house anymore so it is a bit of a mess almost all of the time. Thankfully, I have a great husband who helps me out as much as he can.
Christopher and Carter are looking forward to going trick-or-treating on Friday. Carter is going to be a fireman and Christopher was going to be a fireman too because he wanted to be what Carter was going to be but Cory's mom sent him a cape that she made so he decided he wanted to wear that. It is red so I am going to make a Superman costume for him. Hopefully it will turn out alright. Anyway, hope everyone has a fun and safe Halloween.
I SOOO understand you on the sock thing! Mom came over today and I was getting ready and she helped me just because she saw what effort it took for me!
I guess I should probably update. It has been a while.
We had a great weekend. We went to Marion and stayed with Cory's dad. We have been trying to spend as much time with him as possible. He seems to be feeling worse every time we see him even though he has been off of chemo for a couple of weeks now. He is really in need of some prayers. Cory's brother was also in town so we got to visit with him too. Then after church Sunday we went to my mom's and she had a family halloween party. That was fun! After that we went to visit my dad and went to church with him. We got home late Sunday night. It was a great visit with everyone! I'm glad because that will most likely be our last trip up that way until this baby is born. It is getting hard for me to travel.
We are waiting as patiently as possible for this little girl to come. I am really starting to get to the miserable point. I am afraid she is going to be big just like her brothers were. Some of her jabs are actually pretty painful. I had a dr. appointment yesterday and she is head down and ready to go. I would be okay with her coming in about 3 weeks.
I'll post some pictures from the weekend as soon as I find the camera.
