I can't believe my last post was in April. I'm neglecting pleonast.
=]
Stuff is pretty much the same. Logan and Grace got married in September, and the wedding was so gorgeous and perfect. Grace, me and mom spent 5 hours baking cookies on Sunday night. Fun.
I also started working at the Buckle in September. All the people are really nice. I call it "fake work" because it is so fun.
Dad just held a meeting in Broadhead, Ky about a month ago. He saw a whole bunch of his relatives that he hadn't seen in a long time. So, that was good. Mom is doing well too. She gets two weeks off at Christmas time, so she is really excited.
Taylor, its so good to hear from you and get this update. We wish we could be with all of you this year but we couldn't make it this time. I also had surgery last week for my sinus'. John has been a busy bee since we saw you guys last. I am so proud of him for all hard work he has put into work at work. lol that sound funny. He also ran his first 5k this year. He did really good and I'll have to send some pictures or post some. Our dog Lucy has become a computer girl like her daddy (John). Other than that not much else is going on. Just the same old same old stuff. Love your picture up there. Please tell the family Happy Thanksgiving and give Becky and Daniels kids a kiss for me and a hug. Love you cuz and miss you. :D
Sweetness! That is awesome. I think I'll take a little trip to the mall soon and find me a pair of jeans!! :D It has been a few years since I allowed myself to buy a pair of fabulous BKE's. They are the best! I LOVE Big Star too!
I would really appreciate it if you could ask about recordings of Danny McKibben's meeting. He and my dad have been really good friends since middle school and I would love to hear his sermons. He actually called me one night during the meeting when he was with my parents! It was so good to hear from him.
Oh no, Tay!!! I feel for you all! It is no fun being w/o electricity! There are still a lot of people up here w/o power too. Jake's school is still out so they will miss yet ANOTHER day of school! We're going to use up all of our snowdays before the end of September!! Keep me posted on how you all are doing! Did you have any damage to the house? Any trees down on your property?
No rush. Thanks so much, by the way! I'm sorry to hear about all the electricity problems going on in Louisville. That's crazy that a hurricane went all the way up to Louisville. Never thought that would happen. I hope you get your power back soon.
I'm SOOOO glad you guys have power back!! What a relief, huh?! We did not have storms up here, just wind. After the wind died down, we had a very slight rain. It lasted for maybe 10 minutes!
Taylor I have been reading what you and Michelle have been talking about. I am so sorry you guys have been though so much as well. Becky and the kids are with us right now and will be possibly heading back to there home on Tuesday or Wednesday. It depends on a lot of things. Also Daniel is already in Lumberton,TX and could use some prayers as he has been seeing a lot from this hurricane. Daniel and Becky's house is just fine. They have electricity but don't have some other things. So we are blessed to be able to have them in our home right now. Hugs to you all up there and I am glad to know you are all okay.
yw. ;) Actually we never got a drop of rain here. We got some wind but small compared to everyone else in East Texas and up to Canada. Tell the family hello and glad you are all okay too. Becky and the kids are leaving tomorrow. Holly, the youngest of the three, has a really bad ear infection. Then Mallory, the oldest, goes back to school according to some of the people they have talked to. Anyway please keep them in your prayers as they head back home. Love you all and miss you. *hugs*
Wow, you're fast. I'm glad I caught up to you. I waited 5 hours for you. Why is your coat so big? So, good news - I saw a dog today. Have you seen a dog? You probably have. How was school? Was it fun? Did you get a lot of homework? Huh? Do you have any friends? Do you have a best friend? Does he have a big coat, too?...
didnt know this.....The elf Ming Ming, who appears briefly in the beginning of the film, is played by Peter Billingsley, who starred as Ralphie Parker in the classic holiday film A Christmas Story (1983).
Taylor Lynn .....You are a High School graduate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's wonderful. You may get something in the mail shortly if I can remember to get it in the mail.
I am so happy for you about being a high school graduate. Doesn't it feel great? Now about this car...are you gonna post a picture of it so I can see? Congrats on both graduating and getting a car. I am also glad to hear that you are all okay from the weather you guys had there recently. Debbie is fine too. Love you and have a great weekend.
Okay, Taylor Lynn. Give us the scoop on your English class. Are you taking more than one class? And which college are you signed up with? Love you Girl. God Bless You. You're doing great!!!!
I haven't posted in a while, and it's real late, so if some of my sentences run together, you'll know why. =]
Not much has been happening lately. Next week dad gets a week or so off from preaching, so I think we're all going to head down to Nashville. I really want to see you, you, and you!
Logan and Grace are doing good. Logan's going back to college full time, so we're all really happy about that.
Yes, I heard about it. I thought about doing that and the improv class but I'm in a homeschooling drama program and my parents can only afford one or the other. lol. Have you been in any plays?
Hey Girl. Hope your summer is going well. Did you all go to Nashvegas? We are going tomorrow night. Jason is playing at the Bluebird. So fun! Have a great week!
You looked so cute last night. Love you. Tell your mom and dad that Beth Mappin is in town staying at her mother's house. I hope to get to see her next week.
Happy Birthday to you. I hope you had a great one. Oh Becky is pregnant again. Just thought I would pass the news a long. Can you let your folks know too for me. Thanks. Love you and miss you.
Sorry I was not at church but I was so tired that I could not put one foot in front of the other. I will see you Sunday. Tell your mom thanks for the sweet e-mail
Okay I miss you seeing you. I can't wait to see you again soon. Love you and tell your parents hello for me. Keep John smiling for me while he is there. :) Talk to you soon.
Hey girl, it was great talking with you on the phone. John keeps telling me how pretty you are. :) I hope to get up there with John this year to see you all. Talk to you later. Love you.
