fall is nuts!! such a pretty season, such a cold season. however, i bought a bright pink lumberjack-esque hat and a big coat and now feel that i am equipped to handle fall. winter will be a different story. blechh
oh ya, im not dead. there wasnt really a shooting at western, and if there actually had been..i wasnt at school that day anyways. im really not at school a whole lot..i feel no obligation to go to classes that teach straight from the book. the book which i could read at home. in my bed. not at 9am.
also, i do not care about the presidency. things, of course, didnt go the way i wanted them to, but im sick of hearing about it. especially how our nation is doomed. i have faith in God and faith alone is sufficient. im not very politically minded and i dont ever plan to be; i have more important things to do with my time. my moral standards trump the constitution and i vote based on things like which candidate will save the most babies. not to sound rude, but i probably dont care if you think thats stupid. like i said, faith is sufficient.
speaking of election day, i got in my first real car wreck that day. what a crazy feeling. wish i couldve videotaped it. mary anne was with me and we're both okay, but incredibly lucky to be that way. aside from being temporarily car-less, things in kentucky are still amazing. going home soon :) cant stinkin wait. takin some winter classes, booo for no christmas break, yay for graduating on time!!

western is wonderful :) granted, it's a little too cool for my liking..but i love it so much i dont even care. besides, it give me an excuse to buy all the cute scarves and hats i want
i went to my first football game last night!! it was great, we got totally destroyed BUT me and the people i went with got teleprompted twice, sprayed by big red with silly string AND sat on the front row. my favorite phrase of the night: "cardinals do not have teeth!! that is against..BIOLOGY!!" -courtesy of the drunk guy next to me. (he was referring to the ball state cardinals' mascot) haha. it was a good weekend
in more interesting news, the guys i work with found out that i have a stun gun and, no joke, begged me to bring it in monday and test it out on them. i am SO excited. i always knew i would find someone dum--i mean brave enough to let me try it out :) i love my job. for many other reasons than that though
i miss my family. katherine has mono. fc people are coming this week. volleyball wednesdays. the office is back on. !!!! yaay college..yaay life
i've decided to celebrate columbus day by not going to class tomorrow. who's with me?!
oh ya..i got my first speeding ticket EVER on the way to BG, unfortunately a mere 2 hours after i took off my registration and inspection stickers. so actually it was two tickets
also, i went to my first class today only to find out my professor isnt teaching it anymore..but i still have to take it..this semester..from another teacher..at a time i have other classes at....
so i had to redo my entire schedule this morning. and buy all new books. hurrah. and i got soaked in the rain waiting for the stupid bus
BUT you know..im really not even mad about it. definitely annoyed, but not mad/upset. You know why?! BECAUSE..life is still awesome. the world spins madly on. who knows, maybe i have better professors now, maybe i'll know more people in my new classes now, im still taking 15 hours of psychology so im still not wasting any of my time, AND..without the icky rain my already dead yard would be even deader and uglier. haha. SOO BOOYAKASHA..IM STILL LOVIN' KENTUCKY LIFE :) :)
Just think you could be here waiting to see if we're gonna get slammed by Hurricane Gustav. See there is a silver lining behind every icky rain cloud :)

blessed house-imony has begun!! haha. me and my roomies are all moved in :) kentucky is definitely a lot different from Texas, but im LOVIN' it!! im even learning my way around, imagine that. classes start monday; i am beyond terrified. in other news, FC started today and our whole house download chapel haha, nostalgic much??
i dont really have anything terribly interesting to say..i miss my family, i want a dog, i cleaned the oven and i installed deadbolts!! i feel like an accomplished handy woman. woot. i think im going to come home for fall break, i need a job, and i am in desperate need of some pizza rolls. congratulations if you hung in through all those ramblings, go ahead..give yourself a pat on the shoulder ;)
i officially start real life in just 7 days!! kinda scared, kinda excited, kinda in shock.
im going to miss my family more than words can tell, they mean everything to me and the thought of not seeing them till christmas is a little overwhelming :\ but on the upside..i know kentucky is a great opportunity for me and im super pumped to live in a beautiful state with the four greatest housemates i could ever hope for.
summer went by tooo fast :D if i havent seen you yet..feel free to drop by my house and help me pack ;)
