The kids finally got to paint their pumpkins. Would you believe we STILL haven't carved the big pumpkin we picked up? Sad. Maybe I can get it carved tomorrow and have it in time to take to the party tomorrow night.

I made the cake for the Halloween party tomorrow night. I thought it turned out pretty neat! I definitely have some practice to do on getting my icing smoother (among other things...), but I'm my own worst critic!

I was checking my e-mail (finally) and I had a spam mail that said
Do Not Read This
...
So I deleted it.
Glad that's settled.

For the last few years (this is only our second time to go), a park near us holds a Halloween Fest where local businesses set up booths for kids to come "trick-or-treat" and play games. It's a lot of fun. We took the kids last Saturday (once again, I'm a week behind!!) and they had a lot of fun. Here are some pictures of the kids in their costumes.

I've probably mentioned a couple things on my blog regarding things we've received for our home. I know I talked about the furniture that was handed down to me through my Mom's side of the family. I've been meaning to post pictures of it!
Well, today, I finally got pictures of all the things that are "different" in our home recently. We've done some moving around of things and I'm really happy with our set up so far. I love our home!!
So, enjoy the pictures!
I got to put together another track set-up for Caden's train. Caden said, "WOW, this is cool!"
Starting with this picture and going through the next 5, you can see our sunroom/playroom. Yes, our children have been abundantly blessed with toys from family!! This is ALL of them. I LOVE that they ALL are in ONE room. The general rule is that they STAY in this room. That doesn't always happen, though!
Starting here and going through the next 3, you can see our living room. It's smallish .. and maybe looks crowded to most people, but we're happy with it. Now if someone can only help me figure out WHERE I'm going to put my x-mas tree, I will be much happier!! Augh!! (didn't think about that until AFTER we moved things around like this!)
This is one of the decorations Andy let me buy earlier this week for Fall. I don't have a picture of the other one, but it's a 24" scarecrow and I have him sitting on a small hay bale. He's sitting in the corner of my front porch. Cute! Thank you, honey!
This picture and the next 2 were taken to have my "Vintage" item to display for Vintage Thursday. This was at my mom's house for a while. I don't know if Grandad (her dad) passed it to her or if they found it together, but Grandad said this style of desk was like the ones he used as a child in school. I think it's super cool. I plan to let the kids take turns using it for school work.
This and the next 2 pictures are of the furniture that was passed down to me recently. There's a mirror that goes to the powder table (the changing table), but we don't need to use it yet. There's also a headboard/footboard and they are out in the shed until we need them. I love this furniture!
This and the next 2 pictures show my Fuzzibunz stash and a few of my cloth wipes! We're getting ready for Joseph to arrive!
