Well we're back from NC (it was too cold) and 'fall' is behind us. It's time to focus on xmas. Yes, I am just now starting to think about it. Are we missing a few days on the calendar this year or is it just me? It will be here before we know it and I sure hope I'm ready... Have a wonderful December, count your many blessings and take time to smell the Cookies!

Well, in the last 2 weeks:
- My 'baby' Clay turned 15 and has acquired his learners permit; keep us in your thoughts ;0)
- Baby/Bridal showers
- We had 119 in attendance for our halloween party; it was great but, boy am I glad that's behind me! Thanks soooo much to all of you who helped out; especially Caitlin, Nick & Jonathan who helped us for a solid week leading up to the big day. Traci, Laura, Sandy & Rikki put in an extra days work also. We couldn't do this without the help.
- Total bombardment of political NONSENSE (may God be with us) - Teen Bible Class
- Another visit to Busch Gardens
...you get the idea. Thus, the delay in posting. The calendar is still filling out thru the New Year but the bees are making honey and life is 'sweet'! May you all have a blessed Turkey Day if I get behind again.

The 'holiday season' is in full swing and I see no end in sight until the new year. Between planning a huge party, birthdays, all the things associated with coming babies and weddings (showers & more showers), gospel meetings, bible classes, wrapping up construction of our church building addition, a 'vacation' trip, etc, etc; things are just non-stop crazy. Time is zipping by at an alarming rate and I have to take a deep breath and find the joy & accomplishment that is at the heart of it all. I know it's in there...

O.k...I am really getting MAD at this stupid computer...this is the third time I am typing this...but anyways,we went to the watson clinic(it took forever in a day)...then...they took my blood prressure(they said it waz pretty high for my age...Ahhhhhh)...then we waited...got my x-rays...waited ___AGAIN_____...then they FINALLY told us that I had 'just' sprang my arm.but I sprang it REALLY bad!AT LEAST IT'S NOT FRACTURED!!!!...they gave me a splint and I will probally be wearing it to church to secure my arm,it makes it feel a little bit better than it does when its just hanging down everywhere...well, I guess I can look on the brite side...I didn't have to go to school today!!!YEAH!!!!!!
1. FALL is my favorite time of year!
2. I love DARK chocolate. Hersheys 'Special Dark' is my fav.
3. As I have 'matured' (HA!) I have developed a real desire to shop for shoes & purses.
Some may imply that it's an addiction. However, 'Shop' does not always mean 'buy'.
4. I love having girlfriends (of all ages)!!
5. My toenails are always painted. My fingernails are never painted (too much maintenance).
6. My most important job is being a great mom & tending to the needs of my home. I give it my all.
7. I find myself wanting to 'take care' of everyone.
8. I have a low tolerance for slackness & excuses. I pray about it daily.
