Hey everyone! Sorry it's taken so long again. I've just been kind of busy lately. Well, school has finally started. It has been going pretty well so far. But I also have band, and afterwards I have work. Also, as a lot of you know, my family and I had to evecuate because of hurricane Ike, so now I am out of school until friday because of that. And since I have had no school this week, I have had to work every day. We were really busy everyday. Today was pretty much the first fairly normal day that we have had since right before we evacuated. I mean, Sunday night we started to run out of food, so we had to shut down earlier than usual, and then yesterday, we ran out of almost all of our food. So because of that, we had to close while we waited on our food to get there, and then we opened back up. We were very busy.
School and band have been going pretty well so far. we have a game this Friday even though it's the first day of school in a while. We have gotten behind on a lot of things since we've been out of school, but I guess we can always catch up. My college classes have been fairly easy so far too. We haven't really done anything but lectures in class so far, but I guess we will start doing more once we get going a little bit.
Ok, well, I have to go. It is time for me to go to bed. Again, I'm very sortry I keep taking a long time to post again. I'll try not to take as much time as usual.
Hey everyone! Sorry its been so long since I've posted.I just don't get on the internet as much as I used to.
Well, school is starting next week. I can't believe that this is my last year of High School! I will bee off at college next year. I'm going to miss high school, my family, and everyone that I met while in school. I'm actually a little afraid of leaving home because I don't want to leave them. Well, I guess its going to happen sooner or later anyway, so it might as well be now.
We started band about three weeks ago, and its going pretty well so far. I think we are going to do very well this year. The band director picked really good music, and the show will look great whenever we finally get it finished. It is taking us forever this year because he keeps stopping and working on fundamentals while we are trying to lay the sets down. Oh well, we'll get it finished sometime.
Well, my apologies again for waiting so long to post. Thanks for being patient with me.

Hey! Look at you with that French Horn! your must be a musical as your parents! Anyhow, good to hear from you and add you as a friend. Tell you Dad and mom hello for me.
I hope to be a mother someday in the near future. So thinking of that, I need to start thinking about the kind of mother that I would like to be right now, before I even start dating.
I would like to be the kind of mother that is a faithful christian, and a good example for my children. Proverbs 31:26 says "She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness". I would like to be this kind of person when I am a mother. So many people today are being led astray by worldly things, and they need a good example to help them.
I would also like to be the kind of mother that cares for her children and disciplines them when needed. This does not mean that I will let them do anything they want to. Discipline is necessary in the home when your cildren do something they know that they are not supposed to do. Colossians 3:20 says "Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord". This means that you should discipline your children, this does not mean that you let them do everything that they want to do. So many kids these days are allowed to run the family and do whatever they want to. I will not let my kids be this way. I want to stand with my husband and help lead the home, and I will help discipline them.
This is the kind of mother that I hope to be someday. I hope to be a faithful christian, a good example for my children. I also hope to be a mother that cares for my children, and disciplines them when needed. I will always stand with my husband and help keep a good Christian home. In fact, after writing all this, it makes me want to be just like my mother. My mother is the best person that anyone could ever have as a mother.

It's always good to have a plan. Don't let anyone ever dampen your spirit by trying to criticize your goals. It IS possbible to have a plan and stick to it.
I am a Christian now. I obeyed the gospel when I was 11 years old. I know that is young, but I really believed in God and wanted to serve Him. Sometimes young girls may think that they have nothing to offer the church, or that there is not much they can do to help the cause of Christ. But, I think there is alot that I can do.
As a young Christian girl, I can try to study the Bible with my friends. When we get together I can try to start discussions about Bible things instead of letting the discussion be about boys or makeup. All Christians should try to teach their friends (Acts 8:4).
I can also set a good example by always attending services. Also, I can invite my friends to attend with me. The Bible teaches that Christians must not forsake the assembling of the saints (Hebrews 10:25). If I always attend, and my friends get an invitation from me, they will know how important it is to worship God.
There are also many little jobs I can do around the building. I can help older ladies teach the little kids classes. I can help clean the building. I can take my turn mowing the church lawn. I can hand out meeting announcements in the neighborhood.
In fact, now that I think about it, there is so much in the church that I can do, maybe I should get busy and do more!
