We are so excited beccause Todd has found himself a new job. Actually the Lord found it for us!!He will be starting on October 20th. He will be active reserve with the military, and will only have to drive about 15-20 minutes to work. His new unit is in Garner, NC. There are alot of things to be excited about with this job, but I won't bore you with the details. We are just truly thankful to God for this opportunity, and we know that His hands made this possible for our family. Please pray that Todd will feel secure in this new job and that he may be working around people that have some sort of morals about them. Thanks, and we hope everyone is doing well!!
Yes, I expected not everyday to be like that 1st one. And I think that's what a lot of kids think (especially the older they get), 'YES we have a sub, we can goof off."
We just checked your other blog- such sweet stories & pics. We cracked up at the Halloween pics. We thought that Leah really looked like Emma in her Minnie Mouse costume. Um...we might have been the ones that helped to give Emma the idea about the training wheels?? While we were there she asked us how old we thought someone should be when they get their training wheels off their bike. She said, "Maybe 8?" He he he! Nick & both told her that we thought she could learn to ride w/o them now. Ooops!
Hi, there! It was so nice to see you all! Reidsville is a pretty city and we enjoyed being in Eden, too. I'll not soon forget that I got to teach Emma and Leah in Bible class! What an honor. They're sweethearts!
IT sure was good to see your smiling face across the room as we sang at 1000 Voices. Thanks for bringing your MOM. This is the first time 2 other people (from Wilmington) besides our family have come to 1000 Voices. I love learning and singing new songs!
My condolences to Emma and the rest of the family as you grieve the loss of Mr. Goldfish. :( That is too funny about the funeral for it! Did Emma cry at the funeral?
Well, we just got back from a nice long weekend at my mom's. I miss her a whole lot, but it is nice that we live close enough that we can visit often. We visited the beach and feed the seagulls, and also saw the American Girl movie. It was wonderful, everyone should see it. It was really cute, and no trash. You can't find any of those anymore. The girls really enjoyed it, and I want to see it again. It was a good feel good movie. It was also nice to get to visit with the people from church in Wilmington. Well if I can figure out how to get pictures on here I will post some, Katie put the other one on here for me. I would like for you to see what Leah looks like with fixed hair.
YAY!!! You posted!!!! I just happened to be on here this morning. There are instructions somewhere on this thing for posting pictures. I'll have to try to find them...or I can walk you through it sometime.
It was great to see you again! The girls are so cute. They also have great manners! They were really good at Karen's house yesterday. You all have reasons to be proud!
Awwww...I just looked at all your pics on your blog site. SO CUTE!!! I just wanna reach through the computer screen and squeeze my little nieces. Such sweet girls.
I made the bread that you taught me how to make in June last night for company. YUM!! It turned out ok, but it still didn't double in size when it was supposed to. So it was kinda dense, but still good. I think I could have baked it a little longer, too.
Katie has talked me into joining this group. I am not sure I can keep up. But wait a minute, who am I going to talk to besides Katie anyhow? I guess I will be able to keep up with what Nick and Katie are doing and where they are going.
Hey girl! It's Cindy, how are you? The girls look so big! It is funny, you don't realize how many people you know that are on here. I have found people from my childhood.
We really enjoyed spending the day with all of you. The girls are precious, Todd is precious :) and you are an amazing mother. I like how you guide their hearts and minds to follow you and Todd to do the right thing. We miss you already!
Hi, there! It was good to see your name on my blog! I loved my time on the floor with the girls. Some kids aren't too fun to play with, but yours are! BTW, you would be proud of me! I have my notebook and sheets to hold my coupons and CVS and I are getting up close and personal. Thanks for the boost! I've become a coupon site scavenger, too, printing all I can find. Love y'all!
Yes I agress they are two to the cutest girls in the world!! Glad you got on here to see my slide show ;-) Nick and I looked at your site last night with the updated pics...funny a lot of my captions are exactly what you said in your posts. Great minds think alike, right...or we just remember the same things that happened! ;) Yes, I'm sure I'll talk to you soon!!
