just for x-mas at this point. We've been talking about moving back but need to find Nathan a job first and look at housing. Hopefully we can do some searching in Dec.
no I was not working for the city...I was working for a private firm but their lack of business necessitated my leaving the office...so I have been working for myself and looking for a job with anyone.
well i have worked a couple of special assignments for the PD. i worked with the secret service for the last week. it motivated me to go back to college and get more of a specialized field. i applied to the UofA. if it works out i will be accepted for the fall semester as a political science major focusing in middle eastern studies. if it works out ill take 9 credits this semester...
one of those classes would be arabic... needless to say, i hope to go federal in the next two years... before i get too old... lol... i just want to retire at a reasonable age.
life is busy as always, but mostly just working...
Well how about that! Crazy awesome I say. I moved to College Station a couple weeks ago; taking summer classes at the CC here and hoping to be an Aggie spring semester!
arabic is a cool language...sounds so strange compared to english. i'm sure it'll be hard to learn! it would've helped when i was in egypt! :o) how'd you land that secret service gig?

i dont know why, but ive been stuck on the Eastern Promises Soundtrack Score... its all that i have been listening to since it came out. emotionally driven music... its amazing.
well... i love my job. i was recently involved in a foot pursuit. a guy on a motorcycle was driving like a maniac and i tried to stop him. he dropped his bike and took off running. i chased him into a hotel room (he was flushing drugs down the toilet); i ran in after him... i was suddenly stopped by a large dog... i thought i was going to have to shoot him... he is lucky to be alive. after i got the dog to leave me alone, they guy ran back out. i put him to the ground and waited for back up. the apartment complex he ran into is known for being filled with drug addicts.
needless to say, im one for one in guys trying to run from me... it feels good to start on a good note. the guy was high and scared he was going to get caught... he told me that he thought he could outrun me to his hotel room. i told him he had a better chance to escape on his bike...
ive been following the gang problem for a while; it escalated last friday night with a drive by shooting. no one was hit. the next month with be interesting. hopefully we can stomp the whole shooting thing out.
ill be leaving my day shift soon. sounds like evenings. i am looking forward to it. its a very busy shift.
hope everyone else is doing well. ive been busy but loving every minute of it...
