Ok so a while back I lost my address book and its been driving me crazy...anyways if you havent given me your address in like the last 30 days (ha ha) would you please send it to me - I'm going to be doing xmas day cards soon (I just got the kids outfits!! whoo!)

Well first off thank you so much to everyone for your prayers and support with Nick's grandfather passing. It was a wonderful service and we got to see alot of old friends and family we hadnt in years. It was truly the way a funeral for a wonderful christian man should be and the family is doing very well.
In other news things here have been busy, I cant belive that we are leaving to go back to TN in like 3 weeks for Christmas! It is going to be here so fast - but on a good note my kids xmas shopping is done!! whooo! Thats a big relief. I started putting up our decorations today and all thats left is to get our tree on Saturday (we always do it saturday after thanksgiving).
Peyton and Hailey are doing good - Peyton has been talking alot more which is getting funny to us, he still is not holding a huge converstation but hes defintely trying to tell us somtehing! I guess the same can be said for Hailey :) She repeats evrything we say and its so funny...some how we have figured out that she says "bar be que" for "brother" its really hilarious we say Hailey say brother and it comes out clear as day "bar be que!" to funny. She has really come into her personality in the last few weeks and with that have started the sibling rivalry...all this week she tries to get a toy and then throws one back at Peyton saying "Tank too!" as if thanks for my toy here take this one!
I posted some pics from this morning, so I am not a huge TV mom (nick calls me a TV nazi) I defintely let the kids watch but its kept to about 30 min a day for after nap time waking up...anyways Nick always teases me that I'm so strict with it but its probably b/c I grew up never watching TV (b/c we didnt get any!) and so I feel like the kids shoudl be doing something - anyways today the TN game is on and I was trying to put up xmas decorations so Nick said lets just put a movie on in Haileys room for the kids...as soon as I even said the word "movie" Peyton was running back to her room dragging his chair...we put it on and we might as well been at Disneyland - they thought it was so neat to watch it back there ...as you can tell from the pictures though I need to get Hailey a chair b/c the "sharing" wasnt working out so well....they crack me up.
And finally more importantly today is our 5 year anniversary...we went to Outback (our first date) last night and then xmas shopping at the mall - we had a great time just hanging out together and a meal alone...everytime we go out I think "We should really do this more often!"

Saturday night we got a call that Nicks grandpa who he is very close to had stopped breathing suddenly and was not doing well - he had not woken up since and we were told he probably would not. He passed away last night but we know he is in a much better place now he was a very faithful man and Elder for 30 plus years.
Right now its 4 am and were at the airport - my wonderful cousin the pilot Kody got us tickets to fly out immediately we will be in TN till Saturday with the family and defintely would appreciate your prayers - Nick was very close to him and they have always been so good to us, I remember the first summer I went up to meet nicks family I was staying for a month and he brought me over his truck to use so I could go see Nick at work and gave me gas money every week he was such a sweet man.

Ok I know I just posted - but we were on our way out tonight and I just had to take these pics of Hailey..I've always called her my baby doll b/c she just looks like a life size baby doll to me, especially with her chubby little legs in a skirt and her shoes (which she loves to wear!) its just the cutest thing to me of course...Anyways she is also my little climber and she was climbing in our rocker while we were getting ready...just had to snatch a few before we ran out...hope you all have a great weekend!

We had such a great time tonight for Halloween! First last night we made "Umpkin Cookies" which is what Peyton keeps calling Pumpkin Cookies and Nick carved our pumpkin - the kids had a great time and kept going out side to check on the "umpkin"
Then today we had a great Halloween party for the kids and went trick or treating. The kids were so much more into it this year ...the funniest thing was that the kids (especially Hailey) just would walk right into the peoples houses - Hailey would scoot right by them and go in (I have a picture of her coming down the people stairs) luckily we knew most of the neighbors and they were very nice but it was cracking me up how thye just went right in.
The first picture is my crazy brother dressed up as Flava - Flav (spelling?) for their halloween pary...looked so crazy.
Hope you all had a great halloween - sorry my slideshows are kinda long, but I have family that checks this blog so I put more pics on it...
Nick's b'day is on Monday so were going to celebrate this weekend! 28 years old...were getting way to close to 30! :)
